I'm in today. Last week I re-evaluated my weight loss goals, so (after a weekend out on the town) I am now hovering just above the top of my 'maintenance window' weight-wise. Hopefully 2 good fasts this week will drop me down into the window so I can start properly trying to maintain next week!

Like some of you I was off from work last week. I stayed home, but still wasn't as good with eating as I would've been during a work week. My birthday was a couple of weeks earlier, so that wasn't great for my weight loss either. I've been fluctuating between the same 2 pounds for a while now, so I really want to kick things in the downwards direction.
I did start exercising again this week - swimming and walking. Of course, sometimes I know that hinders my weight loss, but that's ok, I know it's good for me and will help in the long run!
It should be a busy week back at work, so hopefully I will do well fasting today.
Have a great fast day everyone! (Off to find out what DODOing is!

I'm in today. I had a very greedy weekend and ate far too much, so fasting today is the price I have to pay for pigging out quite unnecessarily! I would like to be closer to the bottom end of my maintenance range before heading off to visit my daughter in Madrid in ten days time so back to 5:2 for me until then. I should be writing up Minutes for a couple of Committees which I am Secretary for but it's a lovely sunny day here, so I am off into the garden to tackle another border or, maybe, a vegetable bed!

I'm fasting again today and am feeling much more positive this week. After what seemed like very slow progress, my total weight loss in 5 weeks is 3.9kg which I suppose isn't bad. I am actually feeling a little less bulky in the tummy region and my waist has reduced by 4cm, too.
On the downside, I had the results of a blood test last week and found I have high cholesterol (7.28 mmol/l) so losing weight will hopefully help that get down to a healthier level. I've got to do this.

I weighted my self this morning ( not something I usually do after 3 "normal days") and I am 2lb down on my weight from Friday. That will teach me won't it :)

It's just gone midnight Monday here but today was my fast day.

I managed the day on sliced tomatoes and miso at 2pm before a 7pm dinner with my daughter at an Asian restaurant (veg rice paper rolls and a Japanese salad, dressing on the side) and a small bowl of frozen cherries at 10pm.

I've been MIA for a few weeks as my life has taken a few no so pleasant turns. I'm hoping that focusing on healthful eating and more regular exercise will help me centre myself to get through another challenging period.

Good luck to those with fasting hours left.

@Cyclonet - that happened to me in the fall. I'm finally starting to feel like my normal self again. I hope you get through these difficult times too!

9:30 am here in Seattle, I'm in today, just having my first black coffee. Next up, a pot of green tea that I can sip for a few hours....will post more later.

I'm in today. April is not a good month for me! I am up a pound. Up until now, I have been maintaining (which is not something I wanted either, but it's better than gaining!). It seems like all those days of pigging out have caught up. I was no better yesterday with beer and way too much pizza. Must stop this nonsense!

@Hazelnut20 have you B2B's before? Sounds hard core to me though it works for Candy for now.

I don't believe I have before @lizbean -- it does seem rather hardcore, but when you are DODO-ing & you miss one....you have to make up for it somewhere!! Well, that's my thinking anyway....

Hmm, have been feeling rather deprived today, but was so out of control yesterday that I know I have to stand firm! Today is nearly over & I have survived....so no reason to expect any different tomorrow....

My Mum had a lovely birthday thank you - a super picnic & plenty of family time in the sun, it was a smashing day! And the food wasn't bad either......even if I was a bit unfettered!

Hi @Hazelnut well worth dipping your toe in, as it's your first time do share your first experience with us. Pleased to hear you, your Mum and family had sun on her birthday. Did the birds come out to play? :sun:
