Fasting saturday 7th sept
06 Sep 2013, 22:25
Maybe saturday not the bestest of days to choose...but am giving the 16:8 thing a whirl
Just had some 10 cal jelly,11pm friday.
no more now til 4pm sat except water with lemon or just water or - wow- sparkling water, yay!
Gonna try some pomegranate and raspberry tea..fruit teas are not my bag ..i wd rather have a good strong cup of Pg with a splash of milk..
Is it ok to have the flavoured waters?

Good thing about my 16:8 is i can sleep thru some of it!

Best of luck to anyone else having a Repairing Sat'day! X

It does feel kinda lonely on this thread, we can be the salmon swimming against the tide. I,ve set my tracker to 500 and so far I,ve had 100. I am aiming for ketosis so the less the better. About 12 hours to go and I will be home free.

I'm fasting today, sneaking in with 3 this week, just cos I can. The family are away this weekend so I'm home alone working nights, just got up! So if I fast it saves me cooking and washing up :)

It could be good to fast while the family is away, but I expect I would feel deprived and self medicate. Good luck with your fast, the good thing about a smaller group is we can support each other and not have it get lost in a sea of threads.
Thanks for the support Jemima, it,s after midnight now and my cals are 470, success is just a sleep away, hope you all are well :-)

I don't mind, in fact I'm loving the peace and quiet, no cries of " mummy I'm hungry" " wifey what's for dinner" dog looking expectant every time i move. I have my salmon, mushroom and scrambled egg concoction planned for dinner before I head off to work. It will be busy tonight being a weekend so will pass quickly.
I am at the moment feeling "zen"......cup of tea, feet up and my programme (uninterrupted ) on the tv. Bliss!

My hardest times are when making meals for the family, so it would make it much easier in that respect. Enjoy your Zen :-)
