I can't believe I'm the only one here.

Fasting today, my first Fast for two weeks Good Luck everyone :clover:

Special shout out to my buddy @lizbean who had her Monday fast sabotaged by work and is going again today!

Not many in today!

I'm in, and definitely need it after being on holiday in Northern Ireland last week - lots of beer, cake, and veggie variations on the Ulster fry. I didn't restrict myself, but felt that I didn't always need lunch, and sometimes had just a drink with snack during the daytime; 5:2 has changed me for the better in that respect.

I'm joining you today. I'm thinking of doing a back-to-back with tomorrow as I'll be away at the end of the week and weekend. Seems a bit daunting so I'll decide tomorrow morning. Good luck with today's fast!
I'm in too today as I had to meet someone for lunch yesterday and it was a bit awkward - good luck everyone :clover: :heart:

Me too! Normally do Monday Wednesday but had to change it due to lunch commitments. Need to sort myself out again with the TDEE though as am not losing any weight at all (eating/drinking too much on feast days!)
I'm going to try and fast today. I'm on a business trip and with colleagues all day including dinner. Lets see how much resolve I have. And I can't skip today and fast tomorrow because I'm still with them tomorrow!

I can do this. I will do this - so done said hypnosis may work :bugeyes: :bugeyes:

Week 2. Scale read 4 pounds lighter this am so it was very encouraging to fast today as planned. Good luck everybody. :clover:
I'm in for my first fast of the week. I have (at long last)managed to go down into the next stone bracket (after a plateau going up and down the same pounds since November). I decided to take Sue.Q's advice and be quite strict with my fast days, keeping to my 500cals. I tried to tackle my fasts like last year when at this time I was nearly two stone heavier! I think some of my 'plateau' was down to me being slightly more relaxed about the fasts (and the feasts! :smile: )
However, having written the above, it's only lunchtime and I'm starving, so a small miso soup or green tea won't come amiss.
I'm a Late Arrival at the Fasters Ball. Just had my first calories of the day (c350) for five veg stir fry inc 46g dry weight of fried chinese noodles. This morning I swam 2.4km as practice for a 5km Swimathon, and feel better than expected, despite not having eaten beforehand. Probably using up the fat from several meals out at the w/e. Tonight, one Warburton Thin, Emmental VQR, tom puree, fizzy water and a three hour pub quiz to take my mind off food. Tomorrow new potatoes.....
Still in with only breakfast, coffee and now Earl grey tea - no milk!
The day is crawling to an end. Very slow-moving afternoon.
