Hi, I'm in, I'm only managing the one this week; my weight has been creeping up very slightly, I'm going to cut down on drinking to one or two days per week (from three or four) to see if that helps. I'm doing my local 10k run on Monday, so that's an incentive.

I've stuck to coffee with skimmed milk and water so far today. Good luck to all and welcome to the new fasters here.
Count me in. But like Sue.Q, I'm out for a couple of drinks later so my fast will end up being an eating window. Scales arent playing nicely this week - need to be more rigid with sticking to 500 cals on fast days but I'm having issues with eating. Once I start (of late) I dont want to stop! I hope to get this under control soon as I dont want to sabotage the great work I've done so far. Good luck with fasting for those on it today.
I'm also fasting and like @Bobshouse am feeling colder than usual. Otherwise it's going well. I'm teaching 2 students later, then can have a last practice session before accompanying 2 singers in a private performance tomorrow. Am I extra cold because I'm nervous, and\or is this indecisive weather chilling? Dinner is a pile of veg and some spiced up chicken breast. Looking forward to that.
Did it! Just had my dinner and I am full. Tomorrow I eat!
I'm accidentally in today too ! Had a late breakfast and then forgot lunch as I was busy. So a small supper and that's another fast ticked off. Good luck everyone !
Pleased to report that I have successfully completed my first fast. Next one will be on Monday. I had an apple mid afternoon and then celery and ham with melted cheese for my main meal.
I've been in as well today, and also have been so cold! I wonder what has made us all have the chills?

I'm still about 3lbs from my goal despite being good, this final bit just won't shift.
I'm doing my second fast today as well, not doing too bad so far just had some home made ratatouille so got a happy belly. Just wondering what people break their fast with? The first thing I wanted was toast after my last fast but bread is kinda high in calories any suggestions?
I'm not in today, just being nosey. Wanted to say that feeling chilly today is nothing to do with fasting, it's flipping freezing. And @pansy try not to have cereal for breakfast, it will make you hungrier. Also check out the calories in an innocent looking bowl of cereal  @loz2304 try to stay away from the bread for the same reason. I don't want to tell you how to do this because different things work for each of us but I thought I would mention it because it took me a while to realise that you can have a lot more bang for your buck if you stay away from naughty white carbs that only serve to make you keep coming back for more. Hope that's helpful
Thanks Wendy. In fact I wasnt hungry till midday so if that continues I may end up skipping breakfasts and having a scrambled egg brunch instead.
Thanks Wendy any advice is appreciated calories are a bit new to me have done weights watchers before and lost but the new system didn't work for me, so still learning about everything.
Just had dinner, omelet and salad (if it's not broken why fix it?). I've still got 260cals left so I'm going to make a fruit salad later with strawberries, cherries and pineapple. I've been super super good this week so I better have a loss on the scale tomorrow. Well done everyone. :)
@Loz2304 me too a year ago. Stick with us, you'll be amazed  Try using the My Fitness Pal app. It's a good teacher.

@Pansy yes, that's the idea. Eggs are brilliant.

@justdee sounds delicious. Good luck with the scales :clover:
11.30pm and I have made it through on just under 500 calories. Just have to stay strong until I go to bed!
