Looks like I am first to post on this topic. Today is my third fast in 5 days. Certainly not feeling like it, but I have plenty to keep me busy so that will help :)

I did get back to goal weight (just) after second fast, but know I went over yesterday. The weekend is not going to be easy re food consumption either, then we head off on Monday on our travels :D so today may be the last fast in a while...

Happy fasting fellow Friday fasters! :) :)
I'm in today for a sort of half-fast. I am having dinner tonight with a colleague. I'll try not to go too crazy!

It'll be awhile before I'm back down to goal weight but I've already taken off 1.7kg of holiday weight gain, so that's something positive for me to keep in mind.
Fasting today again. After a yo-yo time with feast days being out of hand, I have to 'steady the ship' to feel better. I will log each day on MFP starting today, laborious though it seems, and add a couple of 16:8 days between the two fasts and take a week at a time, no stress!
I am fasting too, third this week. Am now fairly settled into 4:3. I have decided to fast no matter what. Today I am out for some time but will still fast. Once home I will have eggs and salad. I find this works best for me. If eating out in the evening, which sometimes does happen, I just try to be sensible.
Fasting for 2nd time this week. Had been doing maintenance of just 1 a week for most of this year but a splurge on my birthday with meals out followed by half term where wasn't able to do any fast has meant 3lbs above goal weight. Hoping a jolt back to 2 fasts this week will help shift at least a 1lb.
I'm in today for my 3rd fast of the week. Hope it's easier than my last fast, I had a headache most of the day on wednesday, I didn't get rid of it until just before bed when I realized it was probable lack of caffeine. I'm going to have a really good fast today and do my riverside walk and my uphill walk, should take me about 2 hours. I'm hoping that will help with weigh in tomorrow. I'm only a few lbs from my pre trip to UK weight / pre xmas weight / lowest weight in about 5 or 6 years / lowest weight on this WOL. Got to push past my sticking point of 12st, come on 11st something, come on !!!
Have a great fast and a lovely day everyone :)
Hi @smargetts

Congrats on being able to maintain with 6:1 - I still haven't managed that. However, I have found that fast days do easily shift the extra lbs that go on after some overindulging. A lot of that extra will be water; once you reduce the carbs, the water (and the fat!) will go. I have put on 3 kgs after a weekend of extravagance, and 2 fasts shifted it.

So good luck with it! :)
Hi, fellow fasters, I'm in today for the third fast of the week! Although I'm lower than my target weight, I'm still trying to reach my Summer Solstice challenge of three pounds below it, that is ten stone four pounds, before I go off on a two-week cruise next week. I find the wall-to-wall food, 24/7, irresistible so always come back with a gain of at least half a stone, despite not eating nearly as much as most people on board pack away!
I saw ten stone four and three-quarter pounds on the scales this morning and that's not even after a fast day! Unfortunately my 'official weigh-in day is Sunday, so anything may have happened to my weight by then!
Congrats, @smargetts, on your successful maintaining. As Sassy1 says, most of it will be fluid so it should soon come off.
@Bobshouse, I have a chicken shed that needs cleaning out - if you happen to be over this way! A morning in the garden for me and then food shopping this afternoon. I've only myself to feed later as my husband is out for lunch and he certainly doesn't need another cooked meal today. I don't usually eat salad on a fast day because it seems too diet-y, but I may make a big egg salad as the chooks are laying well. Thanks for planting that idea in my head, @Bobshouse.
Good luck, all! :clover: :clover: :clover: Last fast of the week for many of us, so stay strong! :victory:
Wow there are a lot of " third fasts of the week" here! :like: well done folks!
Have a great day all you Fearless Friday Fasters not Feasters! X
Count me in. 3rd fast of the week. Went overboard on the rose last night so a big gain this morning. Wouldn't have minded so much if i'd thoroughly enjoyed it but by the end of the night I regretted touching the stuff. Just didn't like the way it made me feel.
Survived the car journey with hubby tucking into sweets. Survived him eating his lunch of hot sausage in baguette. Am home again now having a black coffee. Roll on dinner and the weekend when I can have two days together of no fasting.
I should add we stopped on the way home and he bought a box of white magnum ice creams and a box of mars ice creams. They are shouting very loudly from the freezer! No, not until tomorrow!
Shouldn't you be over in the 'Virtuous' Tent, @Bobshouse? Well done for all that resisting of temptation! :like:

I have done a few hours in the garden and cleared out another square metre of over-grown weeds. There are real plants underneath, which have soemhow managed to survive! I have now come in to take refuge from the sun as I could feel my back beginning to burn. Peeling skin and evening dresses would not be a good look for next week!

Stay strong Fantastic Friday Fasters! Onwards and downwards! :victory:
Just went and filled a bag with clothes for the charity bin whilst hubby ate his white chocolate magnum. Was seriously tempted. Off to find the virtuous tent!
