Fasting Today Friday 15th May

Morning or Evening. I'm still sort of doing DODO although I didn't do it on the weekend. I'm going to attempt a Sunday fast this weekend unless I get a better offer :grin: I keep telling myself it's only for a few more weeks and then it's 6 weeks of eating my through the UK and Macau - wish I could lose 10 kilos in the next 4 weeks to counteract the damage I'm going to do :bigfrown:

Hi all, I am in today and will not eat til this evening but expect to go over this evening as my daughter is visiting for the weekend from Byron Bay and I suspect a glass of wine might be involved!' A beautiful day in Sydney so I will go for a walk at lunchtime to fill that half hour. I am finding the days quite easy at the moment but think I am going over most fast day evenings so will have to address that next week. Happy fasting everyone!
I'm here with you all am also going for a no cals till dinner as I'm home and exercising this morning. I need to address my problem with thinking that I need to eat something small during a fast day to keep me going, even though I will only have a small low cal salad at lunch do I really need it? ....
Well I have been a right grumpy bum today, no reason just one of those days. So I made a cake and have now tasted the cake, not a huge piece but I'm sure I will end up having a huge piece for dessert tonight. Oh well you can't win them all.
I totally love cake @wineoclock...so I get where you're coming from!

I'm in for my third fast of the week - no weekend fasting for me then...hurrah!

Am already rumbly in my tumbly (as the lovely Winnie the Pooh would say) but as ever, will just ignore it...and drink to forget. Water or tea, you understand!

In-ish today! Trying a kind of 4.5:2.5 fast week... well, mostly just aiming for 16:8 today but with keeping the calories as low as possible in the 8 (which starts in a few hours). Pretending that the brownies I baked for my son last night are not in the house right now.... going to do a weigh in tomorrow to see how much damage I caused when I didn't fast during the previous two weeks. Hopefully it's not too horrific.

I'm in today, feel as though I really need it, and have my town festival this weekend, so will be sampling cakes and ale. Happy Friday Fasting to all :clover:
I'm in today too having had a bit of a wobbly week, hubby was in a car crash and even though he is ok the car is being written off :-(
He didn't cause the crash but its completely upset my mojo and I have missed TDEE by about 100-200 cals a couple of days this week so I likely won't loose anything which is a shame as I had lost half of my holiday weight at this weeks weigh in.

Ho hum as a famous bear once said .. if I manage to stay the same at next weigh in I will be ok with that.

If I'm going to fast, it's usually Mondays and Thursdays but just didn't feel like it yesterday, so that's why I'm in today. I'm toying with the idea of trying to lose a few more pounds, maybe four or five, as I have a very unpleasant muffin top (mainly skin) and thought it might decrease if I lost a few more pounds. The trouble is that 147 pounds has always been in my head, for as long as I can remember, as right for me and to go lower seems unthinkable! Perhaps I'll just give it a whirl and see if it goes! :grin:
Good luck fellow Friday fasters. Only a few hours now before we Brits can eat our evening meal! Hurrah!

PS @carieoates, of course you can do a whole day without a few calories at lunchtime. It's easy-peasy when you've done it once!

@StowgateResident, I almost made it had a family drama and had a slice of French stick at 4 otherwise liquids all day up till then and a hard aerobic workout this morning and a 20 min run last night. Phew!!

I'm in. I plan on waiting til evening to eat but I'm not sure if it will be a low cal meal or a regular meal as Friday is usually a 1/2 fast kinda' day for me. Hmmm....

I'm in for a Friday fast too. I typically do Thursdays, but a change of plans led to going out for dinner last night. Not sure if I'll stick strictly to 500 calories as I've promised myself if I don't eat until dinnertime I can have whatever I want. Well, not whatever, but something within reason and NOT chocolate! :grin:

So sorry to hear about your hubby's car crash @redrobin, but relieved to hear he is OK. I'm sure you can cut yourself some slack due to all the shock and stress...as you have already made inroads into your holiday weight, so once the upset of it all has passed, you will be fine. Take care x
