Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
I didn't know that Hugh was into it. I do like his approach to food.
All the best from up over...Switzerland
Yum.
Good luck to Friday fasters.

I'm in! This is my first 4:3 week of the New Year. Last year I found that 5:2 with the occasional 4:3 helped boost my success. I'm feeling fine so far and looking forward to my meal tonight.
It's fish and chips Friday at work today so it's tough smelling all that vinegar and resisting! We also have a new girl here and she keeps telling me how 'ridiculous' fasting it, and talking about my 'poor' stomach. 'You can't not eat. Just eat fruit and salad'. It's so tough trying to explain to people my motives for this WOE and also the science behind it. (I'm not very scientifically minded). If it works and I'm not finding it difficult, why can't people just be supportive?
Anyhoo, my first thought was to write on this forum! We're so lucky to have so many understanding people to go to at a moments notice!
Good luck to everyone fasting today!!!
@Kelkelkelster, isn't it amazing how seem people feel compelled to comment and offer "advice" - says more about them than about you, of course, but still very irritating. I would be withdrawing their "privileges" ie don't enter into a discussion with them, it just feeds the beast!
I'm in too, third one for the week for me. Going okay, nearly time for dinner! Thought I might try some carrot sticks & home-made hummus.
Happy fasting, everyone!
I've got a really busy day ahead so hope it stops me thinking about food when everyone downstairs in my office is having their "Friday fish and chip lunch" too!
2 weeks done and 1,8kg gone
