Fasting today - Friday 8/8/14
08 Aug 2014, 00:25
Fasting for second time this week as I notice spring will be sprung soon and I have some body spring cleaning work to do. The plan today is fluid fast until dinner and then a serve of something small. Salad is ready.

Already have had my usual 2pm coffee at 9am. Might be 2 coffees today. So lots of water herb teas and a miso somewhere in there for the salt,

All the best fellow fasters around the planet and may the fast be with us
It's my third day of fasting for the week as I have decided to do 4:3 based on the amount of weight I have to lose and also the fact that I think it will be easier to not have such a big gap between fast and non fast days. Started well with three corn thins and vegemite for breakfast with a black cup of tea. The hardest part of the day is late afternoon so fingers crossed I behave myself.
I'm in today also, 3/3 for the second week. I have to say, I'm kind of liking it. Will be curious to see how the weigh in goes Saturday morning. Have a fabulous fasting Friday folks!
3pm think gym time. Just had one portion of a roasted garlic cauliflower soup, one recipe from this site which was delish. So am still sorta hanging in here on my fast day but I could eat a horse and chase the rider More water maybe
Good morning fasters everywhere. And well done to those already completing their day.
I'm in for my third back to basics fast day of the week.
The holiday weight has already gone, but let's see if it's stayed off.!
Non or very little food will pass my lips until dinner tonight
Morning /afternoon Peeps!
I'm in for my third of three for this week.
Mon Wed Fri is suiting just now , as Beloved is diving on Fridays. I can't -too hot for janeg!
Less than a week until the holiday- good motivator. Don't know if the half kilo gain from the Scottish Stravaig ha gone and not really caring as I feel about the same size.
Nowt to eat til tea time. Kinda relaxed day- bit of bread baking, washing, tidying up. Have done day 6 of little black dress challenge- hate burpees- and will do it agian when Beloved comes home. Quick session on Madmax too.
Hope everyone has good one :clover:
I'm in today. happy fasting :)
I'm doing a half fast today - no food until tonight but then meal will probably be more than 500cals as I may have a glass of wine. Lots of socialising this week so have only managed two fasts.
Have a good fast day.

I usually fast on Thursday, but we were invited to a party last night to celebrate a friend's book launch, so I'm fasting today instead. The party went late and there was a ton to eat and drink so unlike my usual routine where I stop eating at 7PM the night before the fast, I ate up until 11:59 last night!

Today I am hung over and for now I feel perfectly happy never to eat again. I haven't drunk the kind of mixture of wine, fruit juice, brandy, and what have you they were serving since I was in college. Quite delicious, and I didn't realize just how much alcohol there was in it until too late.

So today I atone, and hopefully lose a bit of weight.

It was great fun though, and several people I knew asked me about 5:2 which they had heard about, and were very interested in what I had to say about how well it worked for us old ladies.

Good luck. I am trying the 4:3 as well. We can do it!
and now I'm out, made it to about 5pm. Oh well monday's another fastday .
I'm in today. We had dinner of salmon and veg around 7pm and that's it until tomorrow.
Hubby has joined in too after admitting that he struggles when I do a fast as he knows he needs to fast more than me as he has more to lose! Fingers crossed he stays with it this time
Hello all! I'm in too (coming to the end) - had a yummy tuna steak with egg fried 'rice' dish which I've popped into the recipe section of the forum. Am loving adding a pat of coconut oil into my morning coffee, and that keeps me going to the evening. That said, every evening of a fast day I look forward to a healthy morning breakfast :) Good luck to those of us who still have a few hours to get through today!
I think I'm still in-ish. Not sure of the cals but I had a 4inch chunk of baguette with a tsp of butter and a tsp of honey at 5pm and some greek yogurt, then at about 7pm I had a 3 egg omelet with cheese and onion and a bit of salad, I couldn't finish the omelet. Anyway I know the cals are over but will not have anything else tonight. Weight in tomorrow, it's not going to be a low as it could have been because I've gone over and eaten things I normally wouldn't eat on a fast day but it is what it is.
Got to 6pm after the gym and just fell upon what DH was going to have for his later dinner when he came home. Consequently he had my small portion and I polished off his larger calorie laden meal. Oh well got in 2 fasts in the week and it will be Monday Thursday fasting for me next week it would seem

All the best everyone as your fast days closes
