Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

C'mon surely I'm not fasting alone today! Am usually a 5:2er but doing 4:3 this week after a shocking week of eating last week, so today is fast number 3 for me. Have had a physical week this week with exercise and gardening and also planning more strenuous garden work today (lots of heavy digging, wheel barrow pushing, mulching work), so will probably allow myself a few extra calories today, am also still sore from 4 hours heavy gardening yesterday.. Have a weekend of entertaining ahead ( the champagne is chilling and the cheesecake will be made soon) so looking forward to today's fast in anticipation of that!

Who else is in.
oh no! I was gazumped! Moderators, please feel free to delete my thread.
Or mine Maryann!
Hello Waratah and konnichiwa MaryAnn! I pray the 25th will be a fast for me because I had four failures this week. It is not that I was hungry but more bored I guess.
Did I say the 25th? On my God talk about brain fog!
I'm Fasting today, currently at work on the night shift, trying to ignore the rustle of sweet papers coming from nearby. Roll on 06:30 and home time.
Morning all, I'm in too, 3rd one of the week for me. Good luck fellow Friday Fasters! :clover:
There are 2 of these threads running today, I replied in the other one as it was the first one I saw. Maybe a Mod can merge them?

I'm in at least until dinner time, and possibly till bedtime
:clover:
This sort of accidental fast has been a bit weird. I didn't have a soft boiled egg for breakfast, as I usually do. I dont' think I'll try this experiment again, because I don't like how i feel. I broke down and had some cherry toms and a bit of carrot at about 1pm. I had miso soup at about 3pm. I'm hungry again already (it's not quite 5). I'll finish the fast--or at least my calorie restricted day, probably with an early dinner!

edit: yes, please merge. Our threads started about 3mins apart. I guess it happens.
I'm fasting too! Had to wake up early for a business meeting and now I'm contemplating going back to bed for a couple of hours. I'm already hungry and someone next door is frying eggs. Ugh...
I am in and now it is dinner time, avoided the biscuits at a meeting, hooray. Now just need to steel myself while DH has his garlic bread and I have the same dish but no bread, boo hoo. Made it myself and it is garlicky too
I'm in, this is my third fast of the week too (usually do Mon/Weds).
I took my daughter out for a cinema/lunch/shopping day yesterday and thoroughly 'enjoyed myself' ahem, I actually want to fast today to give my poor tum a break. :)
I am in today as I had to give up yesterday. I may be try a liquid fast but I am a bit confused about if soups are included in liquid fast or if they are part of a "normal" fast.
Am on board today - this will be my 8th Fast (as a born-again faster since July) and my 3rd fast this week as I have changed from 5:2 to 4:3. Doing very well this time around and feeling really great. Have a good day peeps
Yes my OH & I are fasting today. It will be our 39th wedding anniversary tomorrow so we will be staying at a 5 :star: hotel in London & spending the day with our eldest son & his partner going to Greenwich, then wine tasting & dinner. So a wey hey weekend
