I agree @nursebean 'twas good for fasting so you can do it too.

As to my dog usually he walks me. Imagine me on the end of the lead being dragged along :frown: The fight happened as he jumped the fence took off and came home later very unhappy and today he's been at the vet for hours. Now I am his nurse, just put socks on his feet to reduce wound scratching ... unhappy chappie, sad chocolate brown doggie eyes perplexed and lots of sighs
Oh poor little soul. Sending him a Bean hug xx
Have a great day feisty friday fasters! X
@gillymary so sorry about yr dog ..a lot of poochy probs on the forum lately :frown:
Think my pooch might top the bill he had his altercation with a wombat, he is lucky to be alive and he really wants to tell me all about it. Wombats usually crush their victim then when they pass out attack them. My dog is a big boy luckily but the wombat would have been big too the vet said
Haven't said a beep until now on this subject since I wasn't sure I had it in me. But it's 2.30pm and the only thing that has passed through my lips are water. Sure - I did the groceries and I bought some sugar buns and stuff, but even though the hunger pains are immense, I stand steady. I have to start again going 100% sometimes - don't I? Ever since this thyroid malfunction showed up again, I simply hav't had it in me to do proper fast, but cheated with 100kcal (and at times more  ) here and there. Well, tonight it's fresh shrimp (exhorbantly (ow the beep do you spell that??) expensive), no bread for me and just a smitheren of aioli to dip them in. Since shrimp is low cal, at least my counter say so, I get my wine as well
So sorry to hear about your dog Gillymary & hope he soon recovers. Well done Wolfie fasting today.
I feel pleased with myself because I have managed to ride on my exercise bike every day this week which is something I have never done before. I have cycled 9-10km each day & I am hoping cycling on my two fast days on Monday & today will help get my weight loss started again. So far I have had two coffees with a splash of milk, lots of water & for supper will have an M & S Spanish Pulled Pork Fuller Longer meal, that is delicious, followed by an apple. I will weigh in tomorrow & am hoping for a good result.
I hope your fasting went well.
I've been fasting today as well, and for once I wasn't hungry. I've just had 2 poached eggs on a slice of toast which leaves me enough calories for a fat free yogurt and some fruit later.

Hope your dog gets better soon, Gillymary x
