Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
My dinner was soup and yoghurt. DH will eat the leftovers of what would have been my dinner for lunch tomorrow as he eats a substantial late lunch on gym night.
to those with many hours still to go or coping with intimations of hunger.
Managed to get to 7.30pm without needing to eat, might polish the day off with raspberries for dessert
Hoping to see a loss on the scales in the morning
I've had an ok fast day after a very scoffy weekend including takeaway curry, a meal out, a bottle of wine, a huge stir fry etc etc etc! Wasn't feeling the fasting joy today but got through ok - altho I don't know how fast friendly my leftover chicken madras on salad was. It was low carb and very yummy but no idea on calories! Just having a few little dark chocolate dots with a decaff coffee to finish the day - bed soon, altho a doc on Kate bush has just started on bbc4 so I will want to stay up. Iplayer methinks!
I suspect that perhaps my not exercising enough is at least partly to blame for my plateau; have been walking a lot more since we've been having nice (cold but sunny) weather. Hope to keep it up once the rain returns...mall walking (ick) if I must.
Suggestion for newbies: Keep track of what works and what doesn't, FOR YOU. That is the best thing about 5:2, it's endlessly adaptable to YOUR needs.
