I'm here....it's been a busy morning, and I've just realized it's almost 11:30am and I haven't even thought about food yet :geek: Going to heat up some low calorie soup in a few minutes!
I'm in! It's now almost 6pm and my tummy is rumbling. Eggs for tea, and some dark chocolate later. I've been away for almost a week with lots of goodies so back to normal today.
I'm in today. A bit hungry but I'll survive.
And, home again - dinner is over, the clearing up is done and the Kitchen Is Closed, except for non-caloric hot drinks. :)

My dinner was soup and yoghurt. DH will eat the leftovers of what would have been my dinner for lunch tomorrow as he eats a substantial late lunch on gym night.

:clover: to those with many hours still to go or coping with intimations of hunger.
I'm in, just got back from body pump, managed ok but i think it was harder than usual. Non fast days were better than last week, but still not great. Feel skinnier this week, tried the next size trousers on (target June 2015) and can get them pulled up but there's 2 inches to go on my waist til I get them done up.

Managed to get to 7.30pm without needing to eat, might polish the day off with raspberries for dessert
Hoping to see a loss on the scales in the morning
Hi all
I've had an ok fast day after a very scoffy weekend including takeaway curry, a meal out, a bottle of wine, a huge stir fry etc etc etc! Wasn't feeling the fasting joy today but got through ok - altho I don't know how fast friendly my leftover chicken madras on salad was. It was low carb and very yummy but no idea on calories! Just having a few little dark chocolate dots with a decaff coffee to finish the day - bed soon, altho a doc on Kate bush has just started on bbc4 so I will want to stay up. Iplayer methinks!
It feels like a miracle that I survived Monday. I slept poorly (this is becoming a regular thing on fast days, which is a bit worrying), after going to bed quite early. I never found the energy to go to the gym… I wasn't hungry, just felt a bit empty.
Happy to report that I made it through Monday fast - very happy!!
I'm in, too -- my first post -- thanks, everyone! It really helps to read how your all doing. It's 6:00 pm in California and I told myself all day, "You can have something tomorrow!" :like:
I'm in for my usual Monday light day. Realized my last light day (Friday) that one hardboiled egg for my afternoon "snack" isn't enough; got overly hungry and grumpy waiting for dinner. So tonight had an egg and 1 cup of 100cal tomato soup. Missing my greek yogurt and peaches; I usually don't buy the Chilean fruit in the winter, but I may break down and do it for light days. Got dinner in the oven...

I suspect that perhaps my not exercising enough is at least partly to blame for my plateau; have been walking a lot more since we've been having nice (cold but sunny) weather. Hope to keep it up once the rain returns...mall walking (ick) if I must.

Suggestion for newbies: Keep track of what works and what doesn't, FOR YOU. That is the best thing about 5:2, it's endlessly adaptable to YOUR needs.

*you're (from my earlier post) :geek:
Hope everybody made it through yesterday. SSure, I didn't feel too hungry, made it through with a lot of water, coffee and tea.
yesterday was one of my better fast days. I had a higher calorie lunch and a smaller calorie supper and it really helped me. In fact I came under 500 :)
