Hello fasters! I'm back! Haven't eaten at all so far but I will have a quick salady bite before I set off the pick up the OH from the hospital, 100 kms away. Tried to do 16:8 but really I can't diet every day. I can do 5:2 or even 6:1 because most of the time I can eat what I like. I have strayed but I came back. Who else is starting February with a fast? xxxx
You go @Sallyo! I'll be right there with you - after I have Sunday dinner and get some sleep. Love that International Date Line.
Hello. I'm in too. I usually do 16/8 ish? Maybe more like 17/ 7/ ? depends on day, I suppose, M-Fri, weekends normal (or maybe a bit above normal eating). I need to get a little bit stricter with self. I am doing ok, but would like to lose a bit I put on over last year being more relaxed. I work out a lot, but struggle to eat smaller portions.

Two overseas family weddings to attend as a bridesmaid, so hopefully that will motivate.

good luck all.
Hello - I'm joining you today. I have an evening meeting that will keep me busy.
Good luck fasters.
I'm in today, working at home. Only a pound & a bit to go before I'm back to my pre-Xmas low - determined to get there before I go on holiday on 18th Feb (& prob put loads of it back on again)

Good luck all - we can do this!
I'm in!
Hope the drive goes well Sallyo.
Back after a break in fasting and I'm enjoying it. I find not eating a relief to be honest. I no longer have to think about what I will have to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner as I stand, clueless, staring at the contents of my fridge/food cupboard lol.
Happy fasting everyone xxx
Hi all, I'm in today too - January fasting produced good results so motivation is quite high at the moment! Veg soup for lunch, then veg omelette for dinner later on. Plus many hot drinks through the day! :clover: :clover: everybody
I'm in!
Started fasting again last month so just carrying on. I fast Monday and Wednesday and have seen a 2.5kg loss in the last few weeks. Happy with that, I just need to keep it up. And as I am working from home today, it's going to be a good test of will power !

Good luck everyone
My first fast this month is nearly done. I had a cup-a-soup for lunch as my tummy was making a lot of noise and had couple of high-level meetings to get through. Dinner was the usual 'Mexican pizza'. I will do another one this Thursday and hope that by the end of this month will have got some wriggle room.
I'm in as per usual. Had a small loss this week - hopefully be under 11 stone again next Monday. I had quite a bad fall down a flight of stairs last week and have some quite spectacular bruises so may be carrying a bit more fluid than normal. I've been to aquajog - had to take it a bit easy but hope it might disperse the bruising a bit. Ukulele practice this afternoon will keep my hands out of mischief. Haven't decided what we are eating tonight yet.
Hey @Lil sorry to hear about your fall  but glad to hear you are in one piece.
Just had a lovely chicken soup for lunch - I'm going to leave it at that as I feel like being very good today. Let's see if I can make it through without too much effort.
Keep on fasting, it'll be over before you know it
Newbie here. I did 5:2 a couple of years ago and fell off the wagon. But back now. Only managing 6:1 at the moment (or at least through January) as I was involved in R.E.DJanuary (RunEveryDayJanuary- to help raise money for the charity Mind).

Anyway. I will be joining those fasting today.
Welcome to the forums, Ginjunkie! :-)
Hi Sallyo and other fasters.
I am FASTING TODAY, trying again. This past 6 days I gave in to hunger in the evening, and binged. Gained weight, too. Funny how that works. Still in month 1 and learning, but felt depressed several days.
:( :frown:
How does one fast or consume fewer carbs all week when others in my home have cake and donuts out every day? Hubby has been great, putting cookies out of sight and eating them out of sight, but my 94-yr-old aunt with dementia is incapable of doing that.
Ann
Well done fellow fasters, keep going.
Hugs to those in need {{{+}}} for whatever reason.
Happy February/Imbolc/St Brigid Day!
I literally nearly got blown over walking through a car park this afternoon and I'm no where near Scotland, so best of luck to everyone further north :0@
I had to resort to a 25g protein drink this afternoon, sipping a Pukka cleanse tisane now and anticipating fresh salmon and green leaves for dinner :0)
Good luck folks :like: :clover:
