In today! Its turned out that way,not planned
@hazelnut20 and @minsmum great to see you...the usual ups n downs here MM so i dont think youve missed much...
Boiled turnips..stir fry broc.. I must say i DO love turnip/ swede, has a lovely flavour, specially with plenty salt /black pepper. Broc is yummy too..But i admire you so much @pariah and @MaryAnn as i usually love them with lots of other thingson my plate too
@pariah an easy way to eat turnip/ swede...they are a bit hard to cut up..so why not bung the whole thing in the microwave and when its done you just scoop the innards out.
I keep meaning to try this..i cant remember how long in micro but i guess you can keep checking til itsdone x
After three weeks away I'm back in. Dinner included lovely fresh spinach -picked, washed 3 min cook. I LOVE spinach - fasting can be enjoyable when you get to have such treats.
I can't find my boiled eggs! x
@Minsmum yeh, we missed you big time :rainbow:   x I'm on leave first 2 weeks of August
Have the eggs turned up yet ..or do we need to get up a search party! X
I'm fasting today. Its 5:00 here now so will be eating dinner real soon. Roast beef and veggies in slow cooker. Will have a nice salad to go with it. Leftover's all week long. Will be making a veggie beef soup with some of the leftovers........So this should be good week to do 4:3.
Hope everyone is having a good fasting day.............
Phew, found my eggs at 2200
Just sneaking in while it is still Monday! Done my first fast today in <ahem> a while!

Have actually gone over 24hrs if you don't count milk in drinks and an extra strong mint - is it any wonder my head aches a bit!

Still - feeling quite good about myself - who knows - I might lose a couple of pounds this week so that I can put them back on on Saturday when I meet old friends and new at Fortnum & Mason!
Thank goodness @lizbean..i was about to make you a food parcel!
Where were the little beggars hiding?
Well done on not " cracking" and eating something naughty instead! X
Hi @Sassy1 and @CandiceMarie, I eat boiled turnips with only salt but it can go with black pepper too. I can eat it any time in winter. On non fast day it can be just after dinner watching tv. But you see Sassy1 even though it looks tough what I eat on fast days but, today I was not any less than last Friday which is 1/5 Klg above my goal which I kept for 6 months. Unfortunately I am led to believe that my body has got used to this diet and it is going back to a weight that it wants. I am keeping the two day fasts though knowing that it is not going to fall any further. :?:
I'm in today, just had a cup of tea, broth soon. Probably do strawberries for a snack after work, stir fry later on, lotsa veggies. A little overindulgent over the weekend (Independence Day for US), but that's what I love about this WOL: I can have what I want most of the time--and even a little "over" once in awhile--and at least maintain a reasonable weight, if not lose. I have been "stuck" at my current weight for awhile, but y'know, as long as I can eat the way I have been--strict on light days, pretty loosey-goosey on normal days--and stay at this weight, it's all good. I just know if I get carried away with restrictions I'll throw it all away. BTW, my friend is doing great, has lost 16pounds in about 7 weeks...though I have warned him not to give up once he hits a week he doesn't lose. He even kept his light days on a driving road trip, which I thought most admirable.
I'm currently not following any diet plan instead im eating healthy food coz i am not ready for diet plan yet.
