Diane, if you are 100% that you aren't overeating on your non-fast days then perhaps you should check some of the things that might slow down your metabolism. Medication, water retention, underactive thyroid, hormones...
I usually dont eat breakfast till late morning. Maybe ill try to give up a late ish evening snack on non fast days. That would get me to 16:8, we'll see.

My metabolism stinks from 50 years of yo yo dieting.

Ill keep at it a bit I guess. I was really cranky/hungry today. But just had my dinner and feel a bit better, for now.
