I am fasting today as have a lot on this week. It's a beautiful day for a fast
Not here yet as its still 11:15pm in the UK on Saturday. But I will be joining you tomorrow once I get up. Well you could say I have already joined you as the last food past my lips was a delicious trifle a few hours ago and that will be it till about 7pm UK time. Then its going to be a roast chicken salad with a balsamic dressing for dinner. I'm rather looking forward to it.
I am here with you too. As usual my Sunday fast...up 3 hours later than weekday so feel as if the day is well on it's way. Coffee and water so far. Forgot to weigh last week so will see what the scales say tomorrow. Feel the same so don't think I have put on weight even tho I have eaten lots of sweet stuff. Good luck to us all!
Well trotting along nicely today, bit of soup and coffee, water of course. Stunning day, in shorts and Tshirt in the middle of winter! Walked the dogs on the beach, kids swimming everywhere...wow I'm not that brave yet, but soon...just hope we don't get a summer of 45C days :>(

Did a sneaky weigh in the middle of today and didn't like what I saw! So if scales not on my side tomorrow there will be 4:3 this week. Best not to sneaky weigh methinks ;>) Clothes still loose.
Hopefully back in the groove today and joining all my lovely fellow Sunday fasters. First for about three weeks after the holidays and the first of 4:3 of the week.
Also first day in a new full time job so hoping I'm not setting myself up to fail. Especially as there are lots of lovely left overs in the fridge from entertaining yesterday.
I can do it ( with all your help and good vibes)
Good luck to fellow fasters
:clover:
Morning all,
I hadn't planned to be doing a fast today, but just been planning my meals out on My fitness pal and the calorie intake is will be way under my fast allowance even with a treat early evening and a WW hot chocolate.
Just preparing to go on a nice early morning walk with the dogs about 7 miles then a day in the garden with a light late lunch then a bike ride with my youngest nephew and then a light tea about 5pm the treat at around 8pm before bed.
Just hope it goes to plan and good luck everyone that are fasting today.
All the best in the new job Janet and willpower against the fridge's temptations. I am doing ok with my liquids so far but can't be fussed to go to the gym so will postpone that until tomorrow. Have to work out dinner for DH thinking he'll get chinese pork stirfry while I have my little serve of cauliflower garlic soup set to go

Good luck for everyone else fasting :clover:
I'm in. Will be saving all my calories until tonight but haven't decided what to eat yet. Must plan soon as I find having a lovely meal to look forward to helps me through.
I'm going to try 4:3 this week as I didn't lose weight last week. Somebody said on this forum that they'd rather do a third fast than watch the calories on the feed days. I'll see if that's true for me too!
Good luck everyone - keep busy!
I will probably be doing a bit of 16:8 for most of the week with my usual 2 days as next weekend is a big social occasion for me. Away in a hotel for 2 nights (just hubby and myself, a big meet up and festival type occasion with lots of vendors, luckily its not a food festival. But loads of people/friends to drink and chat with.
This is a very unique Sunday for me.
I'm doing 3:2:2 and my usual 3:2:2 weeks are Monday-Tuesday attack, Wednesday fast and then Friday fast again. But, this week is a very different one because Thursday is a huge holiday here in Greece and Wednesday (the day before) calls for festivals and street markets and big BBQs.
I decided to stay home today (I am usually out and about, eating and drinking and watching footy when there's a game on) and start my 3:2:2 a day earlier.
It's going great since I woke up around 2pm and after eating a scabby dog last night I'm not hungry at all. :-)

Best of luck to all fasters!
I am in too - my last fasting day before I am going to Malta on Tuesday - better make a nice finish before leaving - hopefully I will be back after 10 days without too much extra kilos

Pia
I'm fasting too. My first go at no eating until dinner which wasn't too bad so might try that again!
Burp! A ready made salad, from the supermarket on the reduced shelf, easy to do. Plus some roast chicken also on the reduced shelf. Sorted.
Fasting here in Florida, USA. Im getting a bit frustrated with this, but promised myself 2 full months. It's 1 month today. After the first 5 fasts I lost about 9 pounds, felt very encouraged. But the following week showed a .5 pound gain, for no reason. I have 100 or so to lose, I'm post meno by 10 years so no hormonal factors. On my fast days, I eat only dinner and a fruit for an after dinner snack(daily total always right at 500). On my non fast days I just eat normally. Not sure what the problem is, but I'll give it another month.

Not really interested in 4:3, or liquid only fast days. So we shall see what the next few weeks hold
Do you want to try adding 16:8 into your plan Diane.

On your normal days pick 8 hours that you can eat between, usually drop either breakfast or dinner, and eat between those hours. Dropping a bowl of cereal with milk and a spoon of sugar 5 days a week adds up to 2,500kcals, so another half pound easily.
