Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

Not my usual fast day but I have an early morning gym session tomorrow and I don't want to fast when I start the day that way, so Sunday fast here I come!

Anyone with me?
Not today but I didn't want you to be lonely so I'm waving pom poms on the sideline to cheer you on. Gooooo Mandy! :like: :like: :victory: :victory: :victory: :clover: :clover: :clover:
Xxx julianna
Nor did I!! I am doing a sort of 16:8 today as I had a big day yesterday and am fasting tomorrow, so nothing for me until later, and then it will be healthy. Off for a morning of bargain hunting at the op shops!!
Good luck Mandy!
LOL!
Thanks both - I thought I might have been the only goof to fast on a Sunday but so far, so good.
Your not a goof! I really admire you. I couldn't do it.Well done.
I've just been invited out for dinner with a friend before we go to a concert tonight, so I'm not sure how close I'll be to 500 calories by the end of the day anyway. I'll do my best though!
Enjoy it! Where are you going for dinner, and what is the concert?

We're going to The Meatball and Wine Bar in Richmond (which should be yummy) and then we're heading to see Alicia Keys play at Rod Laver Arena. Her sister was supposed to go with her and her mother, but couldn't make it so I bought the ticket from her. Should be a good night!
I'm in today for my usual Sunday, so you're not alone. Love the support on a Sunday from the non fasters :DI'll do fluid only until tea time and then it may be the falafel burger and halloumi from yesterday or the usual poached eggs.
Enjoy the Meatball and Wine bar- sounds yummy. And have heard Alcia Keyes does put on a rather good show. Enjoy your surprise evening out Mandy.
Good luck Jane!

A falafel burger sounds yummy - I may have to add that to my fast day repetoire!
Sounds lovely, enjoy it!
Specially good with pomegranate molasses. :)
Joining you all today!

I did a full fast on Friday and will do kind of a half fast today - nothing until dinner, but then I will eat whatever the OH wants to eat, whether it goes over the 500 cals or not. Still trying to work out what I want to do when I maintain, so experimenting a little!

Happy Sunday everyone!
I am in for today which is a usual fast day for me. Looking forward to it after rather too much food and wine at a friend's birthday celebration last night. Tummy and head not so good.  ....need tea and a lie-down.
Good luck everyone :clover:  :clover:
I'm in today. Not my usual day but the only one available until a second fast day on Friday. Lots of socialising in between, so I am using the fast days as a way of keeping weight gain to a minimum, rather than to lose weight - though that would be an added bonus!

Good luck to those fasting today. :clover: Stay strong! Onwards and downwards!
