Yes I'm in today lovely day here for us so I'm going for a fadtday walk, then in the garden that should keep me occupied before a long soak in the bath.
Hello, yes I'm fasting today.
Buddy @spanner are you joining us?
Second fast of the week after last weekends indulgences , i have found it hard to be good this week i think because i let myself go and ate what i liked all weekend :frown:
I also forgot last night that it was a fast day today and got a piece of pork out of the freezer which i was going to slow cook in apple and cider sauce  Ah well that will have to wait until tomorrow now. I will do this today :crossed:
I'm in today, my first fast in what seems like ages. I'm currently 4 lbs over my target weight and need to get back down to 133lbs before any more creeps on. I have a day to myself without DH or DS so I won't be tempted by other people eating. My plan is nothing till dinner time then a salad with a greedy quantity of prawns.

@SianS I like that. "A greedy amount of prawns"
I could do that easy.
second every fast today, Tuesday my last fast day i had a light lunch ( Ryvita ) but this left me a bit short of spare calories for my main meal so today I m just drinking green tea, I might treat myself to a cup of marmite for lunch :-)
Hello all, I too am fasting today. Going ok so far today, though feeling more or less constantly hungry. But I have only been up less than 3 hours, so quite a long way to go yet. :starving: Hope everyone else is succeeding :clover:
Back again after missing a day last week with visitors.... I am doing better now at plain fast with just liquid to break up time. Around now an element of boredom kicks and I seem to have the main meal early at c 4 30 pm (Loads of fresh herbs, some small toms , lettuce, scallion, red pepper sprinkled with balsamic vinegar. I had this with some salmon and small amount of low cal mayo). Before bedtime, I will have a greek yogurt with granola and fruit snack portion.
My app tells me not to clock watch, but I can't stop myself! Rice cakes was a mistake I think, I have had around 6 in total throughout the day, with 4oz cucumber. But I miss a nice dinner, so shan't be doing this again especially after reading about someone's dinner of a greedy amount of prawns! I need to experiment a bit with low calorie dinners. Roll on bedtime!
Hi folks,

I'm fasting today, too, but was so busy catching up on quarterly taxes and paperwork that I only just remembered to check in.

I have been eating quite a lot of junk this week, which taught me, once again, NOT to buy things that I can eat too much of. Fortunately, the stuff is gone and I'll be confining my treats to out-of-the-house treats going forward.

Still at a reasonable weight, though probably not losing. The nice thing about fasting is that it is very tough to eat 2000 calories worth of extra junk in a single week!

Strewth woman, I can devour an extra 2000 calories worth of junk in one sitting, never mind one week!!!!!!!

Ballerina x
A belated check in from me - doing a back-to-back today. So busy, there's been no time to get on the forum!

Hope it's gone well for everyone!

Quite a good Fast for me today, but I found myself getting a bit grumpy pre dinner. Still, dinner eaten and probably an early night for me. Good luck to everyone still fasting :clover:
I am in today. I had a headache this morning, very unusual for me so I had a bovril at about 11:00 and it was gone within the hour. Had nothing else but green tea all day then chicken salad for dinner. I put the headache down fasting after all the rare indulgences I have had this past week because we have had family staying and a party at the weekend. Managed today well and have just had 15g of porridge with coconut milk as a dessert and a cup of chai. It was yummy and now I am full to the brim. 2lb over target this morning and I am not in the least bit surprised
Hubby and I have been in today. Say day for me as I spent the day painting down on the beach. Nothing like being distracted and having your hands full to take your mind off food

We had a low calorie dinner tonight; small chicken breast, some Jersey royals, a green salad with some chestnut mushrooms cooked with garlic and herbs. Yummy! Hubby added peas to his. The man would live on peas if he could and feels seriously deprived only having a 100g (frozen weight) on a fast day or sometimes (shock horror) NO peas at all. Bless him.

The low cal dinner gave me enough spare calories for 100g of strawberries, an apple and a 'bounty hunter' snack pack from my graze box. The bounty hunter consists of shaved coconut, dried cranberries and milk chocolate drops and is only 147 calories. I make it last for aaaaaages. Double yum
