Good morning Aussie Fasters, and good evening people in the far west and east. I'm in today. Been to yoga, at work, about to go to the staff room for my black coffee. My right ear is blocked up and I can hardly hear. Very difficult in a noisy classroom when some softly spoken little girl wants to ask me something. I am almost completely deaf in that ear. Must ring the doc as soon as it's 9 oclock. It's chicken breast with fennel and chick peas for dinner tonight, or this afternoon. Lovely warm sunny spring day. I'm thinking of those who mentioned heavy snow earlier this week. Have a good one, everyone.
Hi all - fast day today (I hope!!) - may have indulged in a few drinks last night at a function and whilst my body is crying out for a substantial brekky I am doing my all to restrain! Good luck to all today!
Aw Wilson, those are the worst fasts! Hope your body realises it's not getting brekky and stops asking for it.

I'm in today. Enjoying all this lovely warm weather, and it makes fasting so much easier for me.
Hello, down south ... I'll be with you when I rise from sleep. I love your conversations though never have time to give back .. you really bring me on!
Thanks x
I'll be joining you tomorrow. Hope @SallyO's ear clears up. No fun having it plugged.
Yes :) fasting today!

Successfull fasting fasters!
I'm in as well @Sallyo just haven't got round to loggin on. Hoope the ear gets better, may need syringing. I've been wanting to be bad all day, but haven't succumbed, on way home for dilunch about 4.30 not hungry, just tired and over restrictions today, however yesterday i ate like someone who had been locked in a cellar with no food for a month! I have yet to strike my maintenance balance. Ah well its all a learning curve. Thankfully i have good food in freezer
Today I'm even more thankful to have this forum to come to. I've really needed the encouragement through this fast day. No idea why it's been difficult, just has. But as I've read through some of the threads I've been encouraged to keep to my fast and be strong.
If anyone else is struggling take a stroll through the threads and be uplifted. :)
Here is is half past 4. I have been to the doc and got some drops and another appointment for tomorrow for the syringing. I haven't eaten all day and I'm absolutely starving. I feel it all across my throat, my chest, my belly. I am now getting dinner: Chicken breasts cooked in a foil bag with lemon zest, chick peas and fennel. Then mint and dill and spring onion sprinkled on top. I'm making 2, and I'll cook and eat one. OH can have the other one cooked for him at a more civilised time. I'm hoping that after I've eaten, I'll be able to function and do something more with the day. Now for a liquorice tea while I wait for the breasts to cook. Are you awake yet over there?
Thanks @sallyo for your thread. I am in today and as always I get to write later in the afternoon. I hope my fast works today. Normally Thursday is a fast day for me but also a coffee with my friends. I don't have breakfast and then have a flatwhite with my friends. Today I had a quarter of a cinnamon swirl with them as well. I am not sure how much I have consumed. Will be careful for dinner. Its a while I have not lost anything and am off my target between 100-500grms. :curse:
Fast day has started ..... I have consumed a litre of fizzy water for breakfast to see if it sets me up well for the day ahead
Good luck everyone :clover:
I'm in today... started the day off with a coffee and sipping water now.. feels better than the past two fast days. Definitely not had the 'grumpy factor' that was there before, so I think my body is adjusting to the cycle and the drop in sugar intake. I think I had a little less success at calorie control on my past two feed days, though I think I still stayed under the limit.

It's starting to get trickier with receptions and parties as we get closer to the holidays!

I'm looking forward to a tasty dinner tonight! :)
I'm not fasting today but just popped in to say 'well done' to those of you who are! Stay strong! Onwards and downwards!
I am fasting today and I am grateful for this Forum. Black coffee and tea and water so far. Feeling a bit miserable, don't know why. Never feel hungry anymore. Cold, and the weather is gray and dark November in the North. In a couple of hours I can have milk in my tea, that always cheers me up. Then at supper time we're going to have low carb meat stew. I have some low carb sour dough rye bread to go with it. Just must not overeat. sigh. Only a couple weeks until my pre Christmas fasting, I am thinking of trying the fast 5 diet, eating window -thing, so much talked about in this forum. It feels good to be fasting with all of you. Thanks!
Hi all

I'm not usually a Thursday faster but my colleague's bringing cake in tomorrow and I want to indulge - plus I also want to have some yummy Singapore noodles tomorrow that almost certainly won't be fast-friendly (when I add all the bits!). I'm at home today and making soup and bread for friends later so will be hard not to overdo it on the bread but I'm feeling less hungry now than I was when I woke up so hoping I can get through a choir practise and a quick dash round town in an hour or two without feeling too grumbly.

Will be nice to wake up tomorrow and not have a full day at work fasting for a change!
