It's a girl! Born this morning. Her name is Sophie Jean and she was 2.6 kg - about half the amount of weight I've lost so far!
Good morning all!
I am in and looking forward to fasting today! Had our annual ladies quiz night last night where everyone brings something for the table - I had so much delicious food and many a glass of red wine! Very bloated today!
Was hoping for a loss tomorrow but it might be a plateau. Was pretty much 65kg before my two week holiday recently, hoping my fourth post holiday fast will get me back there tomorrow!
Drinking lots of peppermint tea to help with the bloating and will have no food until tonights mackerel and green salad.
Congratulations Sallyo on the new addition to the family xxx
I'm in and halfway there.

Congratulations Sallyo!
I started with good intentions today but faltered at a morning tea shout at work........damn! Never mind, there is always next week.
Looking fwd to a long weekend n Auckland visiting my gorgeous daughter and grandchildren.

Good luck to the rest of you fasters with staying power! LOL
Congratulations @Sallyo! :victory:
I'm in. Had a cheesy saucy carbilicious lunch yesterday, so nothing till oriental seabass tonight. As long as I can resist the goodies when I'm at my meeting this morning...
Yay congrats @sallyo

Usual Thursday fast for me, have woken up with an amazingly positive vibe today :)
So it's gonna be a good one, enjoy your fasts x
I'm in. Working from home as usual, so I find it quite easy to just focus on that and not think about food too much.

(Golarne: posting in that older thread this morning was the result of logging in with my iPhone and being bamboozled by iOS7. I need to get used to it!)
Morning all
Congratulations Sallyo

Im in today 2nd fast of the week. Will manage all day on tea and water and if hungry perhaps a can of WW soup at 51 calories! Struggling for tea ideas to keep the OH from starving come dinner so may have to read through tips and inspiration for ideas.
Keep up the good work everyone x
Good morning

We are in today as well.

Walked the dog for the first time in 4 months today and I was pleasantly surprised how little my joints hurt. :like: Before the summer I was nearly crippled after every walk so when my oldest came home from uni I couldn't wait to hand over dog walking responsibilities to him.

My day started a lot earlier than normal and while it's only 10.30am it feels like it should be dinner soon.

Anyway good luck everyone. :clover:
Morning all, I'm on my second fast of the week.

I have a ding dinner (microwave meal) for me tonight so I can be lazy and not have to count any calories myself.

Congrats Sallyo :)
Hey there

Not fasting today but doing what I did yesterday and just eating little... and not often! Would say 16:8 but have already 'tasted' the homemade orange curd and greek yogurt combo I'm using as a cake topping. Going to have a feta & salad lunch before heading into town for choir practice then friends round tonight with chilli & jackets, so hoping to come in around 1000-1500 cals (not counting, just guessing). Lots on this week & next and I find I don't actually do that well on busy days if fasting so gonna stick to 16:8/small meals until the end of next week when it calms down a bit.

Congrats Sallyo!
Hi! On my second ever fast today. Wasn't sure about doing it with a cold starting but actually I don't feel that hungry anyway, so thought I'd give it a go. I'm going to have a little snack at lunchtime so my 19 month old isn't eating on his own.

Congratulations Sallyo! Very exciting!

I'm in, halfway through the day now and looking forward to my evening meal! Im not expecting a big loss tomorrow as had a serious weekend of eating and drinking to celebrate my birthday. Judging by the scales this morning I think it will be a loss of about 1/2 a pound. Still it amazes me that I can have such a big weekend and still lose! I love it!
Congratulations @Sally on the birth of Sophie. How wonderful. And what a precious little package she is at 2.6 kg. Thankyou all on your lovely comments. I am thrilled to have lost 15 kgs and also be in the 6 month club with @Gigi,@Airi,@GMH @Wineocock and @Golarne ( and I'm sure many more) and still feel as enthusiastic about this WOL as when I started mostly thanks to a consistent downward trend in weight and learning so much from you all on our forum. It's not always easy but its worth it. It works!
Congratulations to all concerned Sally, and welcome to the world little Sophie (love her name)!

The fast day is nearly over for us Downunder; good luck to you all in the Northern Hemisphere whose day is still ahead of you! :clover:
