I'm fasting today, too.

I woke up with a sore throat and feeling pretty crappy, but two cups of herbal tea seem to have helped, and I'm now enjoying my one flavored decaf of the day with its 20 calories of half and half.

My last fast on Monday was so much easier than previous ones that I'm curious how this one will go.
Half way there and still on herbal tea, how's everyone doing?

Accountable to @mikesgrl79 now, with weigh in tomorrow so today has to be good.
Won't allow myself to think about dinner yet!

*pings onto board* i'm fasting today too! have to much energy now as i've had a lot of cups of tea and not a lot else! XD spaghetti and meatballs for tea and then my 50 mins of yelling at Fiona Phillips when Sofia's in bed! Also being pro-active atm and cooking a sausage casserole ready for my Monday fast!
Hello fellow fasters and @Chocobunny!

I'm in for a repair day and happy to have read about everyone's progress. We can do it! Thanks to hot tea, bovril (not sure what that is, but I hear about it all of the time) and miso. LOL! Keep steady and just imagine all of the tummy rumbles mean all of our extra jiggly bits are being chipped away.
I'm in today. Monday's fast was a bust and I'm still recovering from eating all that Aldi chocolate :oops: Have made a decision to try and lose a bit more so need to get stricter with my fasts again. Not helped today by our lovely school cook thrusting a veggie pasty (hot from the oven) at me. It would have been very rude to refuse so will have to adjust tonight's meal. Going for a quick run now before I start washing up and getting tea ready for everyone. Good luck all
Had my very tiny lunch around noon, one egg and a small breakfast sausage, so theoretically no carbs. But now I'm hungry. Drinking lots of tea. Oh well, tomorrow I can eat!

@nursebean it's really easy. I got the recipe here and adjusted it a bit to suit me.

I add bacon medallions and use spring onion instead of shallot and Parmesan instead of the other Italian cheese plus I add a clove of garlic. It was amazing. I have pine nuts to add today as well.
I'm in today too. Home from work, which is the worst time for me - the kitchen fridge and cupboards have proved too tempting on more than once occasion! My last few fasts haven't gone as planned but I seem to be finding it easy today. Although I had a salmon fillet for lunch and only afterwards found out how calorific it really is! Any ideas for a quick, low effort, 200 calorie dinner?!

It's funny how some fast days are easier than others isn't it. I had ONE bad day and that was because I tried having my calories at lunchtime. BIG mistake and I won't be doing that again!

@hayleyhay I would have an egg. Omelette with added veg would make a good under 200 cals supper.

I'm in today, and I find the evenings tough too. My OH is out until late, so we can't encourage each other as we usually do.

I've had a reasonable week from an eating POV, but did overdo the wine on Tuesday evening :frown:

Not sure whether to weight in tomorrow or to wait until next Friday ...
