Good luck today Thursday Fasters! I'm afraid I won't be joining you today but I wish you all the luck

:clover:
I'm in today. I've got lots to do today but not a lot of motivation to do it! I'll start by stripping a bed.
Hoping for a good fast this bright day, aiming for at least 20 hours, 24 would be better :0)
I' m in today too x :like: have a good day everyone! X
I'm all done. A good clean fast day and I'm already in bed reading, lights off in 20 minutes :sleepy: :sleepy: good luck to those waking up :victory:
Xxx julianna
Oh well done@julianna! Isnt it a lovely satisfying feeling when you're safely in bed, and you know you've survived yet another fast day! :like:
Good night @Julianna. I'm off to bed as well. I find Thursdays so much easier than Mondays. It's because I'm working probably but on Mondays I'm hanging around the house.
Also fasting today after fasting on Tuesday. Feeling OK so far - I'm working in the library today and the woman opposite me has a huge bag of nuts with her, which is a bit of a challenge. I had a small bowl of yoghurt with raspberries for breakfast, a bowl of low-cal soup and I'll be eating a small pie at 250 calories for dinner. Having a bigger lunch has helped so far but I wasn't very organised today and working in the library while travelling means I rely on buying stuff for lunch and dinner. The organic pies are an amazing discovery though.
I am in today. Haven't worked out calories, but have had no food since last night. Am making a frittata thing with eggs, mushrooms, courgettes, onions, new potatoes, garlic and sweetcorn. So it'll be a low cal meal
Good to see you here buddy @karenm, I've just pm'ed you. :)

I'm in today, had a successful fast on Monday and looks like another good one today. Us fast ladies are like buses @Sue.Q (not the size, Ooops), None for ages and then 2 turn up at once. Hope everyone has had a lovely fastday. :)
Count me in, I had a 5th birthday party on Tuesday and a 21st birthday party yesterday so I certainly need a fast day . Hope you all have a easy fast day. :like: :clover:
Hi everyone! I'm fasting today, and so far so good. But I am having some issues with timing. Just found out I have a surprise kid tee-ball practice from 5-7 pm, which is when I'm supposed to eat my hard-fought 300-calorie dinner! It will likely be 8 before I get some food in me. Argh!

Wish me luck! I feel like I'm going to have a Hulk-style hunger rage attack in the middle of baseball practice. =) I guess I could make some salmon and broccoli to take with me in Tupperware, but I feel like I'd be the weird mom eating fish in the stands. =)
SNAP! @Karenm - I had frittata too...one of my Mr's specialties when he cooks on a fast day for me. Tho perhaps his isn't quite as healthy as yours...he puts the left over chips from the other night's fish and chips in...but still, yum!

However, I do have to confess to giving into a small slice of Apple pie and custard...it might have put me 200 cals or so over for my fast, but I think in the greater scheme of things it's not so bad... (Remind me of this when I find my scales and tape measure again...not sure if I'm in for a rude or pleasant shock!)

And thanks for merging the threads @carieoates - what would we do without the hard work you mods put in to watching over us?

:clover: big clover for you for luck@ewoodwor! I know what you mean on the timing thing. Especially during the first month or so as my body got used to fasting -it was like the worst bout of PMS would hit sometime around 7pm. I felt that for the good of society I had to lock myself up in a padded cell until I got some food in me :-x

Perhaps just take some carrot sticks with you, or a few strawberries, or a thermos of miso just to tide you through...
