 Hi Thursday Fasters, who's in?

I've got a nice busy day lined up, so hopefully don't eve notice I'm not eating.
Hey@KataMak. It's not Fasting today Monday the 21st! It's Thursday! I'm in. I'm still on the Ease-a-cold. Holding it at bay but it's lurking and I can't afford to get it. So I had a piece of toast and marmalade for breakfast. It's carrot and fennel soup for dinner. Another lovely sunny day here.
Hi KataMac I'll join you but a question, it is Thursday isn't it? I would have hated to miss the weekend
Keep fighting that cold @Sallyo lots of garlic and ginger in that soup might help.
Greetings fellow fasters! I've been pretty quiet the past few weeks while moving's been happening, though I've been with you all in spirit. Mostly managed to achieve something like an acceptable fast on most of my fast days during the stress of it all, but it was pretty relaxed, and I skipped last Thursday completely. I'm really looking forward to getting back on track with a proper fast, so who's with me?
Whoops! Only just saw that this one is in fact the Thursday thread, and started another one! Good luck to the mods to get this one sorted out

Anyway...I am with you all today...still haven't found the scales in all the boxes that I haven't unpacked so goodness knows how my figures are travelling...but feeling great, and nice comments from people who've complimented my new figure are helping enthuse me for today's fast.
It's like I'm not content always been involved in the double ups of these threads, I want to add further confusion too! Sorry everyone.
I'm in too :) now back home after getting my father settled into his permanent room in a nursing home... Had a bit of a carb overload yesterday which I blame on all the stresses, plus having a cold and little sleep... It's good to be home after 10 days away - tho the place needs a bit of a clean up, as my menfolk think that cleaning just involves 10mins of vacuuming the walkways...

It looks like there is another thread for today, tho it has the wrong day but right date - haven't been into that one yet.

Anyway @PeonyBlue, hope all is done re the moving for you and hope your first fast back goes well for you. Sometimes a break really helps the resolve! Best wishes! :)
I posted on the other thread as well - do we need to alert a moderator so that they can combine the streams? I think Moogie is away, not sure who is around this time of day, maybe @Debs, tho she's probably working at the moment.

Given Thursday is a common fast day, would be nice to fix this up before we have too many others involved!!

And @KataMac, I have done similar before, in my eagerness, so don't worry about it!

Happy fasting everyone :)
I'm not alert, but I'm fasting. Been awake 10 hours by mistake :sleepy: and was disorganised and had to give myself a big wet fish slapping! So far 2 coffees and mini protein bar. Think I'll have dilunch...late lunch early dinner. This is an experiment that could go awry, but I ate early on Tuesday and was full all night, found it worked really well. I have been fascinated by Krista Varady's research where they all are lunch. Worked for them and maybe it's just the fear that I might turn into a rampaging eating freak by 8pm that has stopped me. Well see. Have to fast today successfully or it will 4 days of feeding in a row with dinner out Saturday, that would = weight gain, so I won't give up.good luck casters! @KataMac can't u edit title?
Hi @KataMac, more than half way through an Aussie fast day. Doing well so far. Hope everyone is having a losing fast day! :geek:
Hi all!

I'm in too, see you after I get some sleep, which has been tough to do this past week, hence my posting past midnight.
Housecleaning and grocery shopping have kept me busy today, but I did decide to have a miso soup late afternoon as I felt so hungry. Of late, I do find I feel hungry all the time I am fasting...
Hope everyone else is going ok...
About to make dinner now tho - hurrah!

Done.
Hello! I'm back and fasting for the first time since February, I think. I'm hoping for a good fast today and I hope I won't tuck into nuts or chocolate as before when I tried fasting.
I have let myself go a bit during holidays in France and have 4-5 lbs to drop. I'm going to watch my carbs intake too as from my experiences during Spring that serves me well.

Good luck for today to you and to me! :clover:
