Hi everyone I'm in for a Thursday fast, regretting that last glass of white last night!! I only had 2, I'm such a lightweight doing ADF, one would have done, but no I just had to have another. I can't drink anymore that's for sure. So I'm upping the water and apologising to my head this morning.
Enjoy your fast guys x
Oh poor @Debs hope your day turned out better than you feared.
Naughty, naughty MumofMin @Minsmum  Never mind, you're making up for it now
I'm in today. A little later than anticipated. Bean dyeing my hair again. Am currently a sort of apricot colour. Oh dear! Not sure where to go from here really. I've heard that adding ash blonde should reduce the orangey-ness, but I think I'd better leave my poor little follicles alone for a while. I don't have to go out anywhere after all
Tonight's meagre meal is M&S chicken, mushroom and rice soup (mmmmm). I'm planning on having half so that I've got plenty of calories to play around with, but I may succumb and end up eating the whole thing!!
Talking of calories, there's a programme about calories on tonight. Not sure what time, or indeed which channel. I'm helpful like that!
Hope your tremendous Thursday fasts are going well xxxx
I'm in today. Good job with the interview, @cyclonet! It's only 11 am here in Chicago. I haven't had a bite to eat yet, only a stick of gum. I'm feeling pretty alright so far. I'm going to try to get away with only half a protein bar today so I can have a bigger dinner. I haven't lost any more weight since the first week (mostly because I've been going crazy on non-fast days) so hoping for a loss tomorrow!
Fish and veg this eve, if I make it  If I don't make it that is less than 300 cals and that is not good enough! Busy day. How is everyone doing? :clover:
I'm here in the Vendee, France, almost at the end of my 4th fast day. Feeling a bit hungry after having eaten supper (poached salmon, haricots verts, cherry tomatoes and some beetroot) but I still have 9 almonds and 2 mugs of tea to go. After that, it's water all the way!
I'm hoping the scales might show a difference tomorrow.
Today has gone well. My soup was very filling (and I only had half!)...still got about 50 calories left...but the kitchen is now closed...hoorah!!
Hope everyone had a good. Fast today too xxx
Well done everyone! I was doing ok until about 5pm when I succumbed to a buttered warm sultana scone! Oops. Then one thing led to another and I seem to have hit 924 cals! Oh well, there's always another day!
Tough day that one  think i did it though give or take a few
Glad that ones over. Came in at around 450 cals thanks to my ready meal (dinner at work). Didn't really struggle today but felt the hunger all day (if that makes sense) off to bed feeling empty, which is good, dreaming of breakfast tomorrow. I do that sometimes even wake myself up thinking of poached eggs!!!
Mmmm poached eggs!! Sounds as though we had a similar fast yesterday Mom @Minsmum although I didn't feel that hungry. @Golarne isn't it strange how you just eat one little thing that you fancy...and then that's it, an avalanche of yummies get demolished! Hey ho...Next!
Thank you for your thoughts ladies
I failed miserably and ended up eating too much, too many nuts, but at least it wasn't sugar I suppose. I have realised that I cannot fast the last week of my three weeks as I am so burnt out, tired and tetchy. So I shall be good the first two weeks and just be kind to myself the last week and then be good when I'm home; fasting seems so much more achievable when you don't have to get up at 4.30!!
@Debs that makes so much sense to me. It's seems important not to have body burn out, maintainers have been discussing this on the March maintaining thread. Really insightful and helpful. Seems to me we all have to find that happy balance :clover:
