I'm in today as well! I did a great job yesterday, skipping bfast and lunch but I definitely had a big enough dinner with drinks to use up some calories! Today I'm in for a proper fast. Not going to be easy, as we have family staying with us so there will definitely be cocktails later today but I will try not to flinch!
Good luck everyone!
I am struggling with the idea of fasting today. It's the tall ships regatta in Falmouth and there are loads of scrummy food stalls. We are going down tomorrow afternoon, so I can eat it tomorrow, but still........
Fast day #4 for me. So far so good. Fingers crossed.
Hi all,

Still at it. I haven't been able to sleep properly for a few nights and I'm so sleepy all I want to do today is sleep. Not eat. I suppose that's good. But I would really like to get some sleep!
Hope you catch up with yr sleep@peebles
Its so miserable when you miss yr zeds x
For me,unfortunately if i dont sleep well - and it happens a lot to me - i just want to eat in the hopes of getting some energy x
I have managed a three mile walk this afternoon but I did have a bowl of natural, organic yoghurt (100g) with 40g of blueberries 5g of mixed seeds and 3g of honey at lunchtime. I never eat at lunchtime on a fast day, so I am putting my need for it today down to my previously-mentioned 'tummy trouble'! At least I stopped at that and didn't just eat all afternoon! Roasted cod on spinach with runner beans and sweetcorn for dinner. The men will have oven chips (a rare treat in this house) but I will probably pass because of the lunchtime yoghurt! Stay strong everyone! :victory:
I'm in.check back later to catch up with all you lovely Thurs fasters.
Hope you manged to hang in there @karenm, repeat after me: I can have it tomorrow,, I can have it tomorrow!!! and it will be enjoyed even more if you can wait. Good luck x :clover:
I've had another good day, I don't know whats happening to me, but I like it. I just had a small pork chop and veg for dinner and loads of water while doing the gardening. Hang in there anyone who's struggling, I know how you feel because it's normally me. We get good days and bad, we've just got to roll with it. Tomorrow we'll feel great :clover: :clover:
I have managed, Ty @justdee.
It's been a bad evening, but I've not raided the cupboard yet x
I've been fasting today but it's been a real struggle for some reason and I've ended up at 850 cals, 350 over plan. No junk food, all nutritious and tasty (small rice veg stir-fry for lunch plus apple and blackberry buckwheat pancakes for dinner), and nearly sin free, apart from three M&S pikelets and a speck of cheese this afternoon. It was those pikelets that did me in. Overall though, today was still approx 1000 under TDEE, so I suppose it was a relatively successful failure. Hope it's going well for everyone else.
I'm in today, west coast U.S. so still just past 2pm. Just had my cuppa broth, looking forward to after work yogurt and fruit and later dinner. Sleeping issues two nights in a row (it's been hot here and I had to get up at 5am rather than 8am yesterday), so am fighting off tiredness in addition to fasting. A little hungrier than usual, but nothing I can't handle.
My Day 4 Fast day.....success!
Drank loads of water/tea all day
Ate my 500 cals for dinner. Hitting the sack now.
Night night everyone and for those still fasting (hugs )
