I am going to a wedding fair after work though so I'll have to be really good and avoid the champagne and canopies.

Happy fasting :)
Good morning/afternoon, I'm in today for the 2nd of the week. Got a very busy day ahead so should be quick and easy today. Just sitting enjoying a black coffee before the madness of today begins. Hope you're having a good day @Pilchards. Good luck at the wedding fair @Lizwardo hope it's not too difficult. Good luck everyone and happy fasting :)
Hi all!
I am in today for my second fast of the week. I did have some lunch today - I usually just have miso soup - but with a very busy day I felt the need for something. Avocado and tuna for lunch, and Quorn burger and cauliflower salad for dinner, with a small serve of pear and yoghurt.
A memorial day here in Australia for the 20th anniversary of the tragedy at Port Arthur. My thoughts are particularly with our Tassie friends.
Good Morning everyone
I'm in today for my final fast before my holiday to Majorca, final weigh in the morning, lets see if I can get that last stubborn lb off.
Normal tea and sparkling water until T time.
Good luck everyone
Hi everyone, well I am back again after a long break,I think this time I am sticking to this 5.2 I work as a domestic cleaner so very physical work,I find it works best if I don't eat anything until dinner,I need to get cholesterol down,in the mean time if I loose a few kgs I will be happy

Hi all, I'm in today too for my second and final fast of the week. I haven't lost any significant weight on 5:2 in some time, but I suppose I haven't really gained any either so it's not all bad! I'm currently focussing on trying to get more fruit and veg into my life on all days of the week, which is going really well so far.

:clover: :clover: to everybody!
Bedtime here in Sydney after a successful fast day. Looking forward to my chia pudding with fresh berries around 11am tomorrow. It's extraordinary that I'm not hungry the morning after a fast but generally feel great and light and revitalised. How do you feel the morning after?
Well done @Pilchards and sleep well x
I love the morning after a fast..I never feel hungry and i feel rested yet energised..i think my body really appreciates the rest and repair of a fast
PM here and not hungry at all so far today..but looking forward to small portion cottage pie and a banana for din-dins..324 cals in total,65 for milk, leaves 100 cals to use or not.
Welcome back @newgirl and happy holibobs @Cathykaty x
@merryMelb i had to google as i didnt know about the Port Arthur tragedy.
How dreadful. Thinking of you on the 20 th anniversary x
That's the bit I like best @Pilchards
The bad stuff works it's way out and I'm left feeling cleansed (couldn't think of a better word to describe it) and fresh
and lighter, ready to face another day.
I know life is tough, but if you feel better about yourself then it's half the battle won
Can any food taste better than dindins on fast day...nectarof the gods! X
I fasted today, too. I hope I can sleep tonight. So tired :-(
Thank you @Candicemarie. Port Arthur was a national tragedy, and led to a significant change in the gun laws in Australia.

Speaking of Tasmania, has anyone heard from @Sallyo lately? She is usually around to give us all a fast day pep up. Her profile says she last visited in May 2014! But I know she has been around in February/early March. So hello Sally - and I hope all is well with you.
