Late start. But hello Thursday fasters. I'm in today.
Hi @Sallyo, had a fast day yesterday but am thinking of all the Thursday fasters. Good luck all! :clover:
Have a good day @Sallyo , I can imagine the garden veggies you might be picking. I've started sowing seeds, and my first ever chilli seeds are germinating in my heated propagator.
I'll be joining you in the morning - it's Weds 23.25pm here.
Well I seem to be in for low calorie day, keep going off the rails at night and I'm hoping that won't be today. So far so good :-)
Quiet for a Thursday. Perhaps the Europeans haven't woken up yet. I have had a good day so far. I decided to have a spot of lunch so I had a slice (thin) of sour dough bread, (home made) and cottage cheese and cucumber. How many calories do you reckon? 50 or 100? Pork steak for dinner with a salad of pear, beans, feta and walnuts? I have had a real good go at cleaning one of the guest rooms and I'm about the start on the other. Cold here and windy. We are having a couple of guests over the next week to attend the Australian Permaculture Convergence which is happening near by. My cousin from Sydney is arriving tomorrow and then my ex-daughter-out-law's father is arriving on Tuesday. It is going to be a very exciting week. As well as preparing the bedrooms I have to do a load of cooking. I am staffing the Community Exchange Network Tasmania stall at the Organic and Sustainable Living Festival on Saturday and I want to make a heap of stuff to offer for alternative currency. Zucchini slice and some kind of plum slice which I am yet to determine.

Calorie King shows a small slice of sourdough (32g) as 77 calories and a tablespoon of low fat cottage cheese as 17 calories so you'd be safer with 100. You must have amazing self control. I'd be buggered if there was fresh bread about!

I'm in today too. It's 12.50pm here in sunny Perth and I've managed with lemon and hot water thus far. I've decided rather than spread my calories out over the day I'd try fasting proper with a big dinner.
Hello everybody

We were invited out to lunch today - all you can eat Buffet - I showed great restraint - only had stir fries and salads and vegetables and water. No pasta, rice, bread, or dessert touched my lips. I will be fasting tomorrow.

You will be busy @Sallyo - it all sounds wonderful.

It is a very cold day here in Melbs and it's hot up North.
Happy fasting everybody.

Cheers
Maggie.
Hi everyone. I'm checking in rather late today, it's nearly 5pm here. Had a huge day at work, on my feet all day and now I'm exhausted. I wish someone else would cook dinner, but I guess it will be me again.
You sound very busy @Sallyo!!

Nice work Maggiee! That is a heck of a mental win :like:
Howdy Sallyo and Co..have already done my two fastdays so just calling by to say have a fab fast Thrilling Thursday people xx
Good morning all!
I'm joining you today for my second returning fast of the week. Monday's fast was tickety boo, but I have been awfully uncontrolled (was going to write "bad" but decided that was perhaps too judgemental and negative) on Tuesday and Wednesday - major scoffing episodes TBH.

Am confident I can "do" today, so will be very pleased to get 2 fasts in after letting myself go for the last few months. It is strange though, how I can be so focused and determined on fast days, yet so weak-willed on others. Just thinking out loud.....perhaps that should be pointing me in the direction of 4:3 or ADF?? Another thing that keeps coming to mind is that, considering I love food, if I only committed to exercising loads more (to burn it all off), I could enjoy what I want. Maybe that would be too hardcore though....

Anyways, wishing good luck to all my fellow fasters today....and everyday for that matter!!

@hazelnut20 i too struggle on some nonfast days
Have you noticed this thread..

Visiting here helps me keep the lid on overeating on nonfast days x
Not many of you in here today, which is surprising (Thursdays are usually popular).
I'm not fasting today but just wanted to wish you all the best. I'm off to our local garden centre for my hot chocolate!!
Sorry this is a blank post because I couldn't see how to delete it!
Aaaaargh @nursebean hot chocolate?! Meanie, not beanie!

I am so pleased that I overslept this morning...till 9.00am, that's over two hours done while snoring! I was awake at about 5 for a while...maybe because of @Sallyo wondering where we all were at 4.39am  Sounds like a very busy time Sally!
I now should start on the decorating, all prepped ready for white undercoat on horrible horrible HORRIBLE dark knotty wood skirting boards. I'm going to listen to a Lord Peter Wimsey drama on the radio to help.
Have a good day everyone :clover:
