Hello@maryannemcconnell and all returners/newbies, how is your fast day going?

I will eat when the sun goes down and then the kitchen is closed and tomorrow is another day. I have not fasted a full winter yet, so that will be interesting  @Sallyo  @janeg :frown:
I'm in, just after 1pm here in Seattle, just had my "clear fiber" (10 cals, mix with water, helps me through early hungries, as well as with "regularity"). Drinking my pot of green tea...broth later, the usual. Good luck to all!
Just to record that I have just completed a semi-accidental back-to-back fast, managing only 700 today, after 500 yesterday. I did intend to keep a lid on my calories today (1000-1200 range) but have been so busy getting house ship-shape for five weekend guests, including shopping and cooking, that I barely had time to sit down and eat anything much (except the inevitable veggie burger at lunchtime). The next three days are likely to be a bit excessive, so this extra fast will help me stay on track. Tomorrow: pub lunch!
I did it. I made it through another fast day. This is my 2nd of the week. I will be trying for one more. Thank you for all of your support. It is great knowing that I am not in this alone.
Guess I can count as making it for today, had dinner and am nice and full now. Will have a mini coconut fudge bar (80cals) for bedtime snack. Tomorrow...having cheese and bread! It's so wonderful, that you don't have to restrict yourself more than one day at a time! I find it much easier to restrict myself very sternly twice a week, than moderately all the time. Plus, I've found that the "eat healthy and moderately" does NOT lead to weight loss for me. So, it's pretty frustrating...And I must confess, I love my beer!
@ferretgal: Drinking a toast to you, as I enjoy a beer on Friday night.
