Many thanks @judithn - I didn't notice this change!

cheers

@Lizbean,

Colds are like that. I hope you feel a lot better tomorrow!
Trust everyone went ok! :)
I didn't quite do a full liquid fast, I did end up having 2 apples and a couple of Brazil nuts, but that is ok. It is now 8.30am and I am looking forward to brekkie after the morning exercises and a few chores. I went without breakfast for ages, but reintroduced it a little while ago, though I do leave eating for as late as I can manage without feeling too hungry.
I think Thursday fasts are a little bit harder for me for a couple of reasons - it is only a couple of days since the last fast, and a Monday fast is often after a weekend where there have been some indulgences so it feels good to cleanse! :D
Best wishes for those still finishing their day. :)
Thanks@Sassy1 well done you. Good conversations about how different Mon and Thurs fasts differ, full on Mondays and more relaxed Thursdays - long term I hope we can balance that scale, well that is my long term goal in sustainable maintenance. x
Take care @Lizbean :heart: :heart: - you did very well @Sassy1 :like: - I had a successful fast yesterday, and normally I would follow with the 16/8 but this morning I just had to have breakfast, just finished poached eggs with NO TOAST!! woohoo!!
take care everybody.

cheers

I almost caved in today. Had some hard stuff at work so my job share co-worker brought me in my favorite sweet.. cotton candy! soooo hard to resist! I asked if I could bring it home and she said yes so it is sitting in laptop bag waiting for tomorrow....
Thx @Maggie delighted you are back after your rest. :heart: :heart: Can you believe it - Dilbert is hosting the Chatterbox thread :cool:
I'm coming to the end of a fairly good fast, another couple hours. It took me all week to get here, though, so I don't know about Thursday being harder than Monday. Sometimes after too much on the weekend, it's hard to pull it in. :frown:
The nice thing about Thursday fasts for me is having three days of enjoying my meals ahead to look forward to.

Its been three weeks since my schedule was disturbed, preparing for my trip. As a consequence, OH kept suggesting treats all day, having gotten out of the habit of remembering Thursday is the day the isn't supposed to feed me. His offer to pick up a big container of Wonton soup at our favorite Chinese place, for my cold, was very tempting, but I resisted. Their chicken broth is so much better than the boxed stuff I have on hand. But I made a chicken vegetable soup here and that will do.

Sure looking forward to getting my sense of smell back!
Get better soon @peebles.
I did a 1000 cals again still feel foggy and woolly. Hope this colds does one soon.
