Good morning! The sun is shining here in Melbourne, I am about to take the dogs for a walk, ready for a day of mainly liquid fasting (I hope! :) ).
Best wishes for successful fasts for today's fasters! :D
Hi Sassy. Enjoy the sun, it's gloomy here today. My first and only fast for this week so I'm hoping for a good one.
Happy fasting everyone
Good morning @Sassy1, and @Wineoclock, I'm in.
A great fast day to you both and to all who put their hunger on hold today. :clover:
I am in for today. Hopefully my second fast is as easy as my first lol It's a little cloudy ATM, but it's meant to be sunny later... I am happy though, with today's 24, since it's going to be 30 degrees for the next four days lol

@Sassy1, what is a liquid fast?
18 mins and I'm officially in - day four of fat fast! Going back to 4:3 will seem like a real luxury afterwards - roll on Saturday!
@Sassy1 and friends - thanks for leading us out today! Out of my sick bed, feeling strong - so hope to have a good fast eat day when I wake in the morning. Best to all Thursday fasters :clover: :like:  :victory:
I'm all done eating until dinner tomorrow, though it is still Weds evening here. But I have a heavy cold that has had me sucking down tea and soup all day. If I feel like this tomorrow fasting will be crazy easy.

I hope the rest of you have an easy time of it without the help of nasty viruses!
It's a lovely sunny day at lunchtime here in Wellington. I'm going to have an Americano and read a magazine for my lunch hour, before my mid afternoon Miso soup and spinach, followed by a nice run home around the bays. Dinner will be vegetable and tofu soup.
Good morning all, it is still morning. I'm in today, joined by the OH who has to fast for a medical procedure tomorrow. He can't even eat any dinner. But I will enjoy some soup and try not to gloat. Off to organise the irrigation for my veggie garden and set up the tomato bed ready for planting in the next few days. Cloudy but intermittently sunny here. We had an excellent view of the eclipse last night. What has happened to the information on the side about how much weight everyone has lost? I miss it. I like to be inspired by everyones' amazing weight loss - even my own.
Hello everybody

Thanks for the reminder @Sassy1 and on FB @Wineoclock :like: :like: - I have just had a couple of cups of coffee and water, going well, it's already midday and I am not looking for food!

It is indeed a gorgeous sunny day here in Melbs.
Yes thanks @Sallyo I noticed that is missing.

Have a great day everybody
cheers
Maggie
Morning fellow fasters, it's the middle of the night here, it's cold, it's dark and I'm at work :( would much rather be tucked up in bed! Fasting the night away with black coffee and water then I'm going to bed and will fall sleep when everyone else is getting up.
Enjoy your fast x
This is my third attempt to post! The iPad is certainly not the best medium for using this forum. :( So I have decided that I will type posts on the notepad first - which I think a number of people do.
Anyhow, was just checking in, while having my first black coffee for the day, to see who else is fasting. Lots of regulars and welcome to the newbies! :)
Glad to hear you are feeling better Lizbean, and peebles, hope you recover quickly.
Great to see that fasting is continuing to go well for you, Maggiee - let me know when you would like to catch up.
@Panda_Po, a liquid fast is only having clear unsweetened liquids, no solid food, virtually no calories. A few people do this for their fast day, as they find it easier to manage their hunger this way. It is not my usual practice, and I never did it on my way to goal. But I have struggled a little when in maintenance and put on a few pounds that I want to lose (of course) and decided to do without a meal on fast days, at least til the weight is lost. I do have miso soup and maybe also veggie broth, and usually an apple late in the day for something sweet, so that is why I say "almost" liquid fast - and I do have a small amount of milk chocolate before bed as it does seem to help me get to sleep.
Okay, this post has taken half an hour!! Back to the Thursday chore of house cleaning...
Yes I'm in too, on train in way home, easy work day. Will have a coffee a nap and another coffee I think zzz not organised yet again, will just have some veg later I think, low cal and filling. Must get cooking some low cal meals this weekend to freeze and pull out on fast day. Good luck all
Hi all. Me too, and the day is nearly gone. For the first time I had my coffee black today to see if it helps as it is saving me a hundred odd cals.
Moved my usual Wed. fast day to today because of social event last pm. Good luck fellow fasters :clover: :like: :clover:

@Sallyo and @Maggiee the stats for everyone pop up when you click on the blue cog icon just under and to the left of their avatar.
