Thursday fasters? I'm in today. Just had my black coffee. Off to Ulverstone for blood tests for the OH. Hope I can keep busy today.
I am in too, @Sallyo! :) I don't really feel like fasting, the hunger pangs are starting, but only 6 or so hours to get through until I start preparing dinner. And as I am starting to feel the benefits of fasting and better eating since my return from hols, I do want to keep it up! (I managed ok on Monday, though had a very bad night afterwards, presumably due to jetlag and over sleeping the night before, so did have some food during the night to see if that would help me settle (no). )

Hope the blood tests for your OH come back okay. :) :clover: :heart:

I'm in today as well (after not feeling too well yesterday - lots better today)..
Sitting at 'breakfast' - black coffee... just now.
Flying to the Netherlands later today to se some friends over the weekend ...
I think I might be 'made' to drink a glass of wine at around 23.30 :grin:

Younger son visited this afternoon, so that has proved a great distraction. :) We went shopping for him... so an expensive distraction!!!

So now almost time to make dinner. Yeah!

Wait to see who else might be joining us on a fast day... Very quiet from the Aussie side...
I'm in. So far an hardboiled egg and a cup of tea. For dinner one of the HB dishes :)
Just cooking chicken curry for dinner, with rice noodles. I wasn't going to do rice or noodles but it's very saucy so decided to do the thin rice noodles. Have had a good enough day: had a yogurt at lunchtime and a packet low calorie soup mid afternoon and now i'm ready and I'm not having a wine, although there is a bottle open. So that's virtuous!
I'm in.
I failed a little on Monday but have tried to eat sensibly since then.
Not feeling hungry today. Yet!

Hi all, I'm in for my 3rd fastday this week. That's not usual at all but I'm at home because of the London tube strike, which makes a fastday easy to do or me. And I'm hoping to get a bit ahead as next week may be daunting calorie-wise & I'd so love to make my Summer Challenge target at the end of the month.
I'm in a surprising place - as in I'd not expected it - I've lost 16lbs in 9 months, so not exactly rapid(!) In clothes I see glimpses of myself in shop windows, etc & don't immediately recognise its me because my body shape has changed - the flab around the middle is so much less; in underwear all I can see is the remaining flab! Anyway - good luck today and here's to less flab for us all tomorrow.
I am in, and this is the last fast of my second week since restarting. I really need to be good today so that I get a good result for the week. My friend has just phoned and offered to take me out for a belated birthday lunch, so I have asked her if we can just do coffee instead. Now I just need to resist all the cakes.....
Hi To All! Just Join in now on this forum, Im an 16/8 or more faster, at work by now. taking a cup of green tea everytime at office in the morning around 9am.
I'm in for today. This is my first real fast since I got out of school for the summer. It is so much harder for me when I'm not working. But I have plenty of things on my to-do list to keep me busy I hope! I'm having some tea right now and planning on a grilled chicken salad later. I told myself I can have watermelon during the day if I need it. I really need to do well, because I have not been eating great so far this summer. I have been exercising though and plan to go for a 3-4 mile walk today.
I'm in today. The person next to me just had fish and chips for lunch, but at least she knew better than to offer me a chip! I'll not eating til tea around 6ish, so four more hours to go until food! Then off for an induction session at the gym which will hopefully be the start of good things.

Hello everyone. I am in today and it is MUCH needed. This is my 2nd fast of the week. I am doing a 3rd tomorrow because I have been soooooo bad this entire week. Yesterday I had a friend come into town and all we did was eat and drink and be merry. I had this (deliciously) awful donut ice cream sandwich and 2 normal donuts later in the evening. Add in a big breakfast for lunch and a hamburger and fries for dinner (only ate half, but still), and then the beers. Oy. I am feeling awful today. I also have shenanigans planned for the weekend with my girlfriends. I am terrified to weigh myself tomorrow for the summer challenge :confused:

BUT! I have just signed up for a 14-day weight loss program at one of the awesome gyms I go to. It is a 2-week exercise/nutrition program geared towards fat loss. It's going to be hard as my work schedule is rough so I will HAVE to work out at the 6am sessions. I am most definitely not a morning person, but it's only 2 weeks. That is what I will have to tell myself every morning as I start coming up with excuses to stay in bed! I'm behaving today, so far. I hope I make it. Good luck to everyone else.
Oh my, what! :shock: I missed today with the London tube strike and gridlocked roads, arrived at work at 7am .......... and just home.
I shall fast Friday and enjoy London meet up Saturday.

I'm in today, not quite 1:30pm here, so I'm still working on my pot o' green tea. Have had a few grumbles, able to ignore. Will do broth later; will probably eat main meal a little earlier than usual since I have a special dance meetup tonight and won't want to be empty for that. So will need to save some cals for a later night snack so I can sleep tonight! Fruit and NF greek yogurt is my default...
