A frustrating week where my weight has been up, not down, but the Tanita scale still says it's water weight. A Chinese restaurant lunch on Tuesday didn't help, as I always put on 2 lbs of water after eating one, thanks to all the salt.
This finishes up week 8 of this diet, which is something of a milestone as I haven't gotten past 6 weeks on ANY diet for the last several years. But it would be nice to celebrate with a bit of weight loss!
I have been wondering if some of the scale weight has to do with the weather warming up here (briefly. It got up into the 70s (F) though yesterday it dropped back below freezing and we had 2 inches of snow and night readings in the 20s. The only silver lining is that maybe the cold will take some of the water weight off me.
