I'm in today, I'm not feeling in such a happy place about fasting and everything lately, been comfort eating on non fast days and it's kinda counteracting the fasting. But I'm going to keep trying.
I'm in today. My Graze box was on my desk when I got to work so I've moved that out of sight. I'll be busy at lunchtime taping and posting some things I've sold on eBay. I'll be having dinner with my boyfriend later then I'm on the train to London again for an early meeting tomorrow morning. I'll have to set my alarm early to make the most of the buffet breakfast
Finding it really difficult today. The chocolate in the cupboard is really bothering me.
:like: Yes I'm in today with a swop from my usual
Monday fast. :clover: Good. Luck to all of us :clover:
I'm in today, I didn't finished eating until 10.00 pm last night as went to the gym, so will also try to miss breakfast tomorrow. Good luck everyone.
I'm in today :)

Had every intention of fasting yesterday but then a colleague came into work with a tray full of her AMAZING rocky road and everyone was eating it so I caved in but stuck to the healthy dinner I had planned for the evening. What I love about this though is that it's ok, I can just get back on it today

Sipping lots of water and herbal tea until dinner tonight :)
We are in today as well.

Running late as usual. Not feeling too happy at present, hubby had an accident on Friday and is off sick. Thankfully he's not seriously injured nor was anyone else in the accident. I so dislike being at work when he's at home.

Gotta go.

Good luck to everyone
I'm in too. Had 3 coffees with a splash of milk (I can't do black coffee). Will have a 190calorie porridge later in the day and a weight watchers meal for tea.
I have eaten my calories for the day. I needed to eat as I was in the gym early. That's it now until tomorrow.

I'm with you there - I find it much easier having some skimmed milk and not eating to having black coffee with a little food, just the taste of something I like gets me through the day.
I'm in today too. not feeling that happy about it tho... so I can tell today is going to be a bit of a struggle. now that I'm finally off my plateau (at least temporarily), I want to do well today. plus, I have hill training with my brother tonight as preparation for our marathon. provided I can make it until then, I should be okay. fingers crossed!
I've spent most of today on the sofa hooked up to my TENS machine. I haven't used that for a few months, but when the pain levels get bad enough it comes out rather than upping my painkillers. So nothing in the way of exercise today, and I'm cold, to the bone cold on top of it.
Its only a few hours now till bed time, so another liquid fast under my belt (splashes of milk in my tea only) and hopefully tomorrows weigh-in should show that I'm back on track.
Just dropping in to say hello. So far only posted on the introduction thread. Anyway today was my first fast day, and I didn't find it too bad, but I'm sure the novelty will wear off! Finished the day with 17 calories to spare. One thing that really surprised me is how quickly 500 calories disappear! Unfortunately my second fast day is tomorrow. I will generally try to keep the days separate, but I have two jobs so there is a lot of diary juggling going on.

Sorry to hear that others have been struggling a bit today.
Still feeling new to 5:2. I'm about a month in. I had been fasting on Monday, but my DGD spent the day yesterday and we made scones! So forget fasting. Moved fasting back one day, and it does seem to work! That alone is a revelation to this creature of habit. The first was that it was OK to go 24+ hours without actual food! Headed into the pm which has been tough the last few times. Chicken bullion on standby, having read someplace that that staves off the hungry-mungries. Must remember how good food will taste tomorrow...Good luck to us all! :clover:
@sidney I hope your fast went well, I'm trying to find a tactful way of saying you posted on a November thread not the one for today. It is an easy mistake to make but you will find more people to support you on today's thread.
