Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
@Sallyo are you joining me today?
Happy fasting
Merging needed!!
Just dropped the car to the smash repairs after my bingle with my front fence a few weeks ago. Luckily son got a new car last week and his old one (my very old one) is still here so I have that to drive. Then we have to sell it.
Unfortunately I just checked my work emails and I have to pop back down there and sort something out, well at least it will fill in the rest of the afternoon. I think it's chicken stirfry tonight. I hope the rest of the day goes better for you Sallyo, just remember we can eat tomorrow - nom nom !!
Just popping in myself to offer words of encouragement to those tremendous Tuesday fasters. Don't forget your water and keep yourselves busy. That way, time will just fly by!
Have a good one

I was so glad to have your message also about the piano idea. Sorry I haven't responded, yet. It sounds as if you chose very well. Yamaha digital, with those features is fun, and presumably it's got weighted keys like a non digital one. I used one ( Clavinova) for years as an extra beside my grand piano, and it went with us to West Africa where a trad piano wouldn't have lasted 5 mins in the humidity and heat. Useful for silent practising (!) and two piano works! But we needed the space, weren't taking it abroad any more, and I was aware that it wasn't as responsive after playing it for about 15 mins. That's just MY thing! We have one at school in use as a portable accompanying tool etc.
Yes I had a number of pupils doing their exams yesterday. Ranging Grade 3-7 and adults to teens! (You're right. it's their responsibility.) Have fun Sally, picking out lovely and manageable bits from the Beethoven Sonatas! Playing an instrument certainly reaches parts of the brain that other things don't reach, and is great for being absorbed on fasting days.
