Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
I'm already fantasising about food and its only 12 o'clock. Prob because I had coffee at M&S to recover from the morning so far. We had to get the AA to tow us to the garage because a belt controlling the power steering had snapped! Grr, only just had the other car fixed. The AA man said "they don't last forever". Hrmph! I HATE spending money on cars.
In the meantime all this is making me HUNGRY!
I had a very indulgent weekend of eating and drinking with guests here, and need to get back on track. So fasting today but like Motherof2 I'm out this evening too so although I will pick the healthiest option, I doubt it will be under 500 cals.
Good luck everyone
Golarne isn't it a shame cars and AA men don't know they are meant to be nice to you on a fast day
I know I'm having roast pork for dinner, but whether its with salad or something to do with sweet potatoes or marrow (squash) I haven't decided yet. Especially as I don't know how to cook sweet potato or marrow.
Have been to the Gym and had a quick swim afterwards and am now drinking my green tea.
Good luck to all Tuesday fasters.
Julieathome, I usually stuff marrows with a mince mixture (a bit like a bolognaise) and then cover with foil and put in the oven. I also roast sweet potatoes as we don't really like them boiled.

Wow, I haven't tried that before. How are you going?
I'm in today, and until now I'm fine. Have been running this morning and was afraid that this would make me more hungry than usual. But no, no difference to "non-running-days".
Enjoy your fasting day!
I'm not sure if we will make it through the day without food because we are both very sleep deprived today! Our dog, Susie, kept us awake most of the night because she is very frightened of thunder and rain beating on the windows! She reacts by panting continually and wanting to get on the bed, (which she knows is never allowed)so we spent the night telling her 'no'!
However, we will give fasting a go and hope that we don't get too short-tempered with each other as the day goes on! Good luck to all those fasting today! Onwards & downwards!
But I'm struggling this afternoon. Maybe it's the heat/humidity. I went out at lunchtime for a long walk to pass the time and try to rack up some steps on my Fitbit (I didn't hit my 10,000 mark yesterday, for the first time since I got it), and was feeling a little woozy. It was at a time when, had it not been a fast day, I might very well not yet have had anything to eat, so I'm not sure why it happened. Oh well. Happy fasting everyone!

Good luck everyone, we can do this ......
Update: 22.21 hours I used 780 calories, I feel ok.
I weighed in at Lighter Life, and am 6lbs over my original Goal weight. Goal weight was reached January 2013. So I will keep to 5:2 lifestyle . I am doing it, and make it work
I think its probably hormonal, but as I only have one working ovary and nothing else I can't judge when my cycle is except by times like this when I could eat the whole Beefeater Restaurant menu and ask for a double pudding as well.
Its only an hour till bedtime, I hope, so I can go to bed and dream of foooooood!
