Morning all,
After a great fast yesterday, I am in again today.
Woke up feeling good and not hungry so it's flavoured green tea for as long as I can. The plan is to go the full 24 hours until dinner, but I have miso soup on standby if I desperately need it when my little one has her lunch.
Who's joining me today?
It was so busy on here yesterday it really helped to keep me going :-)
Hi suzed. I'm fasting just till 5 pm if I can hold out then normal food. I think I'll call it a 20:4. Feeling quite empty. Just have to focus on the internal healing and housekeeping that's going on.
Good to have some company today, thanks Julianna!
It's cold here in Perth today so I'm finding it hard with no fuel on board, although strangely when I go back to back I often find the secong day easier, just chilly!
Kerping busy with housework and gardening today.
Good luck to you.
I. In too ladies. On train on wY home. Coffee, mini protein bar, Apple and lots of water. Have 30p cal curried veg and lentil for late lunch, so will go a little over. Under 1000 cals yesterday and will do 500 to 1000 cals Thursday. I'm starting to hear ' don't lose anymore weight!' So figured I'm wrinkly in the face and neck. I'd like to inject the fat off my thighs into my face.
Starting out today on first of my weekly fasts. Lemon teas, one bullet-proof coffee made with almond unsweetened milk ( tastes great whipped up in my Bodum Frother and has very few cals or carbs ). Getting used to no artificial sweeteners. Loads of fizzy water made with pure tap water in our sodastream gadget flavoured with lemon slice. Bouillon soup midday. Prawn salad with light mayonnaise and a pile of green beans! Well within the allowance for my weight. Most important I'll be very busy with teaching, and household tasks with computer work in between. Warm clothes today as I get chilly on fast days and we have autumn temps here.
Do well fellow fasters! My fasting buddy @sallyo has top notch advice - basically "one day at a time"! :clover:
I'm in today second of the week for me.
Fast days are no strain now as I've been doing it for 2 years!!!
Having bother on other days though with overeating. It doesn't seem too much, but as Im feeling rather blimpy/barage balloonish I must be overdoing it. Still haven't done any exise (weighing and measuring) since my travels, but feel bleurgh. Really don't think I'm reducing , and haven't for a few months s it's maybe maintenance time for me. I'll know at the beginning of October at the next excise day.
Still ,as @Sallyo says 'one day at a time'
well get through it.
Have a good fast!
In today, with a good start of scrambled eggs, and coffee, which should stave off hunger pangs and keep me warm. More physio today for this persisting pain. Will have to use the bus again, as I trashed the car tyres for the second time on the same speed restraining flower beds in a month. New car too. OH now forgiven me nearly. Using the bus means a few km walking...great for calories, not great for pain. Ho hum.
Completely forgot that I was fasting last Thursday until half way through a very nice lunch!
But my average weight loss since starting again in July seems to be half a kg a week! I'll take that a a win. Nearly at first interim goal too.
Schein deg from Luxembourg everyone.
Hello fellow fasters I'm in today, just downing a black coffee. Water, water and more water until my prawn curry tonight. Mmmmmm curry :)

Enjoy your fast x
Just popping by to give you all a :like: :like: :like: up. @Hellengerin "Completely forgot that I was fasting last Thursday until half way through a very nice lunch!" - ha, you made me smile - done that myself! good luck on reaching that interim goal.

Good luck everyone :clover: :clover:
Wow! Good luck @susedon your double whammy! Hope it goes/went well! I am NOT fasting today but just wanted to poke my head in the door and wish you all a wonderful fast day!

Bean
Yes I'm in again today back2back with yesterday :like:
hope your back2back went well for you @suzed :clover:
Chicken chasseur with cauliflower rice plus extra veggies
that's my fastday evening meal decided.
Good luck to all if us fasting today. :clover: :clover: :clover: Sue
Ooh @Sue.Q that chicken chasseur sounds absolutely delicious. I've never had cauliflower rice. I think if I did mine would just go to mush. I guess its low carb you're doing is it?
Thanks @@nursebean[/tag and @[tag]Sue.Q. Not long to go now but I have just caved and had a cup of tea with milk and half a sugar...the green tea was getting a bit too tangy! Still I'm pleased with how I've gone so far. Very much look8ng forward to dinner :-)
@nursebean Yes I'm in for a lowish carb week before my holiday was hoping to make the challenge goal but not yet, but that won't stop me going for it anyway, will weigh in on Sunday before I go just to stretch it a little more.
Cauliflower rice isn't to bad I just blast it in the microwave until the just about done stage, also a side of mixed broccoli cauli, carrots and sugar snap peas (coz I'm a greedy pig). Lol
A lot of people fasting today, it seems. Me too. I had a weekend away and couldn't control what I ate (Had made some yummy Chocolate Brownies, and have eaten some of those). So my weight is rising again. I have decided to 'maintain' this week by having two fast days. I love the advice on this Forum about Maintaining: if you start going up, do something about it right away. That seems to work for me great. Black tea and coffee for me. At 15:00 I'll 'break my fast' by having some milk in my tea. Then at 6 pm is suppertime. Bought some lovely Kale from the shop today. Only 2 hours till afternoon tea and 5 hours till supper. Hang on there everyone. Its great doing it together!
