Fast day 2 for me today! Hoping for more success than my first
So far so good!

I wasn't sure how I would go:
a. Because it's not a busy work day
b. because I broke my fast last week...

But, today has been really interesting! I've been working on a really challenging assignment all day, so although I have been mentally challenged, it has not been the usual craziness of work where I don't even hAve time to think. So I've been able to really experience this fast day, by recognising the hunger and just letting it go. And to be honest, the hunger is not all consuming at all!
At about 1.30 pm, I had a banana and just enough Greek yoghurt to keep things interesting - total 120 calories.
Tonight's dinner is planned for 7pm with the family (3 hours away) and will be baked chicken, sweet potato and green veggies, yum!
Right now, I feel completely in control and relaxed about the whole thing! Plus very relieved that my assignment is complete and has been submitted
Looking forward to dinner, and to knowing I can complete a fast day without falling off the bus, and Christmas with my family tomorrow, and this whole new way of life!
Merry Christmas everyone xx
Well done catamo and merry Christmas to you too!
Rest assured catamo, it does get easier after a few weeks. It took me two months before dropping lunch but sometimes I'll have a miso soup (less than 30 cal). Merry Christmas to you too.
Well done ! Catamo! What a time to pick for your first fasts! If you can do it now, you're away!
I'm in today too - did yesterday but it all went horribly wrong when I got home last night. Hey ho. Good luck to all!
Well done to anyone who is fasting today. I did a successful liquid fast yesterday and I needed it. I jumped on the scales this morning and they very kind to me so it was all very worth while.
I'm fasting today! I need to prepare myself for what tomorrow may bring. Merry Christmas and much love to you all xx
 Well done @catamo glad this fast is more successful and yes the big secret is to keep occupied

I'm doing 16:8 now for 3 days  Sue
Woohoo! Fast Day 2 done and dusted! And it was a huge success! I am feeling powerful and invigorated :victory:
Thanks to all who provided emotional support an Good Luck to all who are still going.
My day is now done

This is pretty much my stance :like:
Well done Catmo for a successful day, it's so motivating when you finish a fast :victory:

I did a juice fast today (400 calories) which went surprisingly well. I remember when I first started fasting I wouldnt be able to sleep or would wake up in the middle of the night from hunger; in comparison today was a breeze.

It's amazing how my body has gotten used to fasting and that feeling of hunger and I only started 4 weeks ago :-)

I'm excited to have found this way to combine juicing and getting the most nutrients out of veggies and fasting.
