Beano@nursebean am back in for repair on thurs x
Soz to hear you've had u/ active thyroid so long..
My family history is of overactive thyroid tho i am under..
My mum had massive op when i was four to remove some of her thyroid...it was a tricky dangerous op back then
My Nan died aged 52 of untreated overactive thyroid.x
ADF has worked so well for you in the past Bean,it wd be good for you to be back on it,as long as you don't find it too stressful x
I failed miserably yesterday and struggled not to eat everything in sight, I'm afraid I had a carb disaster. I seem to fall apart after about ten days for some reason at work. Very hungry at the moment unfortunately and it is only 7.30am, so i am in trouble!
@Debs do you think its coz after ten days at work you are very stressed
I draw a chair up to the kitchen cupboards when dead stressed and just want to eat every bit of carb in sight.
I totally understand carb disaster, i am deffo addicted
Felt so unwell monday tho while fasting after too many carbz on sunday, that its given me a good reason to try to cut down drastically..my main carb prob is bread,cake,biccies..i never eat much pasta, rice or spuds...so today have had none of my main offenders.
If youre really hungry and its so early in the day, maybe go for a lowish cal day rather than a fasting or 17:8? X
Bedtime for me but am going to bobo's a bit hungry due to lack of filling bread ..
Hope yr day goes ok Debs xx
Thank you CM for the moral support, you are probably right. I am addicted too, maybe we need Carbs Anonymous!! I'll see how I go and it's a bit early in the morning for a hot Marmite!
My name is Candy and i am a Carb Addict!
If they have something like berries / melon / yogurt in yr canteen, why not enjoy a small helping..thats if they have such nice things in yr canteen ((((((( hugs))))))))
(or some porridge...x)
I am Debs and I am a carb addict!!!
There are some berries in the freezer, I might defrost a few for a sweet treat. I am planning to bring back some cream from break in my esky to keep in the fridge as I need to plan as we have to get our food from the canteen in the mornings.
I also have some cocoa and almond meal so I can make a 'melange' with some coconut oil if I get desperate. Just had a small bullet proof coffee so I can have some headache tablets, hopefully that will keep me going a while.
I am Gigi and I am a carb addict!
Hey, we have a team going here
Cakes and bread are my main offences, and of course I cannot go a day without fruit. (Those cherries sounded AMAZING CM)
I will try and cut down. I have reduced my intake of rice since 5:2, but it was never my worst offender.
But what would life be without cake??
@gigi55 Never surrender the cake!
Lets face it..A slice of cake is always gonna be a fixture in our lives!
Not on a daily basis of course..but its one of those joyful now and again things that make life worth living!
Yum yum pigs bum, as we used to say as kids! :lol:xx
I am P-J and I am a carb addict. However, unlike smoking, heavy drinking, using drugs and biting my opponent when playing football (things I do not!), this addiction is socially accepted  . Lucky me. Fasting allows me to be addicted and love it
