Good morning folks!
I take it no-one from the Southern Hemisphere is fasting today? I have looked high and low for a thread!!

It feels a long time since my last fast but I think it has been only 4 days! Had dinner and a trip to see Bill Bailey last night so skipped my usual Monday fast and here I am today.

Feeling really stressed at work so this is affecting my appetite and moods in good and bad ways. Hoping to have a better day and not crave carbs and my duvet!!!

Have decided to pack my running kit so if it's quiet I can go for a jog on my lunchbreak and maybe get a natural high!!

Happy Fasting people, may it be swift xx :clover:
Good heavens, are we the only two?!

I'm trying to break the Announcement Curse (I announce I'm fasting and promptly fall off the wagon with a thump!). Have a very busy day ahead so am hopeful.

May rumbly tumblies have a quiet day
Just popping in here to say I'm in but part of the liquid gang today. So you are not alone. Good luck :clover: :clover:
I'm here too. For what I hope is going to be a 2 fast week. Finding a second fast day has proved a problem for weeks and I can feel myself slipping into bad habits on eating days as well. So, liquids only till dinner, which will be a vegetable curry and some Slim Rice, while my boys (55 & 17) have a chicken curry.
Spanner, did you manage your lunchtime run, and did it help? I'll be running this morning lovely and sunny and the moment and not too windy.
Good Luck everyone :clover:
Sorry. Bit slack of us Southern Hemisphere people today. Yes I'm in and it's been a good one, busy so time has flown. Time for bed now and another day closer to the weekend!
Good luck fellow fasters!
Hi all I'm in too,
did a FD yesterday... first for a couple of months, (I had lost 3 stone since feb)
I fell of the wagon and promptly put on 8lb!!
There seems to be a weight I hit that I start self sabotage... WTF. Anyone else do this?

Anyway thought I'd better start again before this lbs gain turns into stones.
Found yesterday hard so want to follow with another as the day after is usually easier, and I need to get 3 in if poss this week.
I read something similar to your signature *rawkaren* that helped stop the munchies for me yesterday... "Junk food you've wanted for an hour verses the body you've wanted for years.. You choose!"
The suns out so today should be easier. Good luck fasters!
Morning all, I'm in today, will try to keep to coffee with skimmed milk during the day, then have some soup already made for tonight which will supplement with a few raw veg. I'm around maintenance weight, so have been generally doing one down day plus one semi-down (not eating during the day, then just eating normally during the evening) in the past few weeks.

Fed well last week (family function) and after a 10 mile run on Sunday, so may do two full down days this week.

Good luck to everyone.
HI all

NOt really fasting today as was supposed to be fasting yesterday but I wasn't on here and then the fasting kind of ended at 1.30 with a chocolate biscuit at work. Then a bit later I just felt so tired and drained (possibly a combo of the sugar crash of the choccy biccy on an empty tummy and having to function on an empty tummy after a weekend of eating lots) so I had another. I then had nothing until my very healthy butternut squash and chickpea curry & frozen banana 'ice cream' in the evening. Not fast day food but I reckon I probably still ate pretty low cal.

So today is not officially a fast day but I'm not going to eat loads - keeping it low after the weekend and we'll see how we get on tomorrow.
I'm in today. Inadvertently had a low calorie day yesterday as I just wasn't hungry - probably a bit too much food at the weekend. I'm hungry today though! I've dodged the travelling chef on the train and I'll be crossing London at lunchtime - I'll spend some time planning what lovely food I can get for 500 cals later.
 Yes I'm in today for the back2back to repair my holiday damage   Sue. :clover:
I'm in - was bank hol here yesterday so my usual monday fast went out the window. Happy Tuesday everyone
Fasting today & into week 9....yippeeeeee! Happy fasting everyone.
I'm in again today after yesterdays cake disaster. Feel really hungry at moment but will have a drink and hope it goes. just a coffee at lunchtime then soldier womanfully on till tea. Just hope there is no more cake lurking in the office
We are in as well

Good luck everyone :clover:
In today but really not feeling as if my mojo is with me. I don't feel motivated about anything right now. Family life and recovering from bronchitis have left me feeling pretty low. The only reason I haven't given up on the fast is that I don't particularly fancy anything to eat.

I am going to try and force myself to go for a walk once the painkillers have taken effect, hoping that it wil;l blow the cobwebs out of my brain. It is a rather bright and breeze day out there, a perfect autumnal day.
