Fasting today?

I'm fasting today - had luverly huge curry last night to celebrate hubby's birthday, so needed to take it easy today anyway. I haven't fasted since last Thursday (because it wasn't convenient) and I can't believe I'm going to say this... but I've missed it!

am in today too, half way through yeah! not too bad today, its been such a lovely warm day, cant believe its October!

I have ended up cooking, which is unusual for a fast day. I have made myself a huge vegetable curry with Butternut squash I was intending to add quorn, but honestly I don't think it needs it. My chaps are having spicy meatballs with rice etc. I have made soup for tomorrow's lunch from the left over chicken carcase and cooked a piece of ham to see us through the next week. 2 1/2 hours till dinner :smile:
Hi all I have had a very hungry fast day, probably due to the huge amounts of homemade pizza I had last night - totally worth it though!

I got the hairy bikers diet books from the library and tried the spicy pork and rice which tasted lovely but was a bit too soupy rather than the fluffy dry consistency in the picture. May start a thread on this as I want to know if there are any of the recipes that people swear by and any that people would not make again.
I did it. Today was my first fast day and I'm currently sitting in bed feeling rather pleased with myself.

I still have a night feed to get through ( I have a 11 week old baby boy and I have a habit of eating biscuits while preparing a bottle), but I know I can resist.

Looking forward to a cup of tea with sugar tomorrow.
