Count me in. First one of the week. I did 16:8 yesterday but today I'm back to ADF and quite glad to give my system a break. Good luck all Tuesday fasters. :like:
Hoping to get back on track after four days in Paris combining great food, lots of wine and champagne, theatre, great exhibitions and museums and a wonderful wedding. Lots of people said I looked slimmer which made me feel very good (more champagne!!!).
Anyway back to basics this week. Focus, girl, focus.
Well done Corinthiam, always nice to get those sorts of comments! I'm nearly done, it has turned into a bit of a 19:5, or more 22:2!! But that's all good!
Ooh @loversghost let me know how your back to back goes. I have to do one in May...not looking forward to it already...although I LOVE fasting! What a strange bean

Bean :starving:
I've done them now and again before - once when I wasn't feeling too great anyway and then a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't working on the Monday (which is one of my usual days). I don't mind them really - it gets it out of the way (ie I can do my 'usual' weigh in on the Thursday). Sometimes I find it easier just to get it out of the way - even though I don't mind fasting!!
I'm in for today after having an event Saturday that made me decide that wasn't going to be able to be a fasting day. So far this will be my second but if it works I might decide to stick to Tuesday/Thursday.
Phew...almost bedtime!!
Another good day. I'm going to try going back to back next week again. I'm done for the week and it feels good.
Hi, I'm in, my holiday in Northern Ireland the week before last seems to be belatedly catching up with me. Sticking to my normal routine of coffee/skimmed milk and sparkling water at work during the day, then soup and veg in the evening.

@wasafan - well done on the swim, are you doing an event?

Good luck to all.

Really looking forward to it - it'll be an adventure, but just a bit apprehensive about the food/fasting side of things. Hey ho.

Hi loversghost. I've just gotten home from the first orchestral rehearsal of the St Matthew Passion which I recall you are singing in China. We're doing it on Saturday and Sunday. Isn't it the most amazing work?
I share your concern about what to eat when I go in September. I plan to be reasonably careful but not to the extent that it stops me from trying new things - though perhaps not on the day of a concert!
Yes, @Egduf , I am doing a 5km Swimathon in aid of Sport Relief, and have done four major training sessions since I signed up for it 10 days ago. I knew about the Sport Relief Mile (which even PM Cameron took part in), but I hadn't realised that there was a swimming challenge too, and I'm definitely a fish, deep down. They suggest 1.5, 2.5 or 5km, or any other distance you nominate yourself, so I rashly went for the longest. I think 90% of the Sport Relief challenges took place last weekend, but they give you until the end of April to do your thing, including me and my 5km swim. I am doing it to try and get fitter, lose some flab, and raise some money for a worthwhile cause at the same time. I would recommend it to any other fishy people!

I LOVE the St. Matthew - we sing it every year at the Festival Hall in London (this year it is on Sunday) in English and then on the tour we are singing it twice (in German). It makes me want to cry - it is THE best work ever, if you ask me. I always love St. Matthew time - though this year I've got my reaudition so it might be the last time I get to sing it :-[ As long as I live I will think of being on the stage at the Festival Hall on a Sunday morning whenever I hear the opening bars. Wonderful.
I've been fasting today, just not had time to come on the forum - and that doesn't happen very often! I travelled back from Germany by train yesterday and ate so much 'rubbish', you wouldn't believe it! A good fast should set me up to face the scales on my weigh-in day on Sunday. There is not much to eat in the house but the chooks have been laying whilst we've been gone, so it looks like eggs for me!

Enjoy the rest of your fasts everyone! Onwards and downwards!
This is my 5th week on the 5:2 diet. Trying to add 30km total walking in the week. Struggle to find the energy to walk 5km on so few calories. Have lost 5lb so far only another 4 to go... Good luck everyone. Any good recipes greatly received..

Oh fab! Are you in the Bach choir? I have friends in that :) And will you be having lunch between parts 1 and 11 (or will it be a fast day?!)
Enjoy :)
Oh @Egdufyour avatar makes me feel a bit on the cold side!! Do you do the early morning winter dips?

Bean
