Fasting today, Tuesday, April 1
31 Mar 2014, 22:39
Who else is in? After curry followed by icecream last night, I really need a fast!
I'm in for my second fast of the week. So far, so good. Happy fasting everyone!
I'm in again today. Yesterday was great and I'm in the right frame of mind to go back to back.
Good luck Tuesday fasters :-)
Hey team,
I'm back on the fasting wagon this week following a week off due to illness.
Finding it very easy so far, but it is only 11am!
The scales are not my friend at the moment and it's TOTM so hoping for a better weigh in next week because I'm feeling a bit disheartened!
Good luck all!
I'm in too today. I have work colleagues coming up to site later so it will probably turn into 19:5 as I will probably have to have dinner with them, but all good, it can still be healthy!
Yes, I am in today. Have had a week of total extravagance and am dreading the scales.

I am debating whether to weigh or not, but haven't weighed in 2 weeks and sort of think I need to know...??? I find it impossible to tell small (ie a couple of lbs) changes in weight otherwise, and then weight can creep back on without me realising - as has happened many times in the past when I did not weigh.

It is a lovely day in Melbourne today - but this might be the last of the warm weather for the season??

Best wishes to all Tuesday fasters! :)
Victoria autumns are lovely sassy, crisp sunny and then warm!
Absolutely Debs! Autumn is definitely our best season, and very pretty here in the Dandenongs too! :)

(I did weigh myself too - not as bad as I had feared, but not as good as I had hoped!! :D )
Good luck Terrific Tuesday Team! :like: onwards and downwards! X
I'm in after failing yesterday, or put in another way, strategically moving fast day from Monday to Tuesday ;)
Oooh it's getting tricky....been thinking food for the last 30 mins and can't seem to find a distraction. I'm not giving in though. I've done too much of that lately.
Hope everyone else is having a good day!
I'm fasting today, did a partial (fasted until 3) yesterday as after weekend felt like never eating again - nephew's birthday feeding of the five thousand and then meal for mother's day with 'rents and outlaws - was going fine until my teacher gave me a bun which I didn't want and really wasn't worth the calories. Proper fast today though, nothing but water (possibly a stock cube drink) until evening meal, which will be chilli. Minus the rice for me. Have a successful fast everyone.
You can count me in today. Here I am for my second fast of the week! Looking forward to my cauliflower cheese tonight!

Good luck everyone and have a great day!

Bean :starving:
I'm in - first fast of the week because I find it easier when I'm at work so this week I am doing back to back just to get it out of the way. I am going to China for 2 weeks from Monday and am slightly worried about what to eat when there, as I try to do low carb as I PILE weight on if I eat lots of carbs these days. Really looking forward to it - it'll be an adventure, but just a bit apprehensive about the food/fasting side of things. Hey ho.
I'm in today after a mixed day yesterday. Swam 4.06km (80% of my 5km Sport Relief challenge) had a 700 cal high protein high veg lunch afterwards and then a boozy night out with my quiz team (baaaad!); amazed to discover weight down to 72.5kg this morning. I have a feeling that if I as much as look at a lettuce leaf today my weight will shoot up again, but for now it's gr8. Am over halfway to target of 65kg, which I last weighed c38 years ago. Today I'm on fizzy water until hangover disappears, then 3 scrambled x with mush n toms, and tvp burger with a heap of broccoli. I notice that we are now being advised to eat seven portions of veg a day, which sounds like a good plan to me. Don't the Aussies aim for 10?
