And we're off for another Tuesday fastday. Hope you will join me in celebrating this wonderful way of life :grin:

Good morning @P-JK! I'm definitely in today as I was VERY bad yesterday (fish n chips - chocolate!!) so I really hope I can pull it back after a great fast today. I'm on holiday next week and not sure I'll be fasting then!! :wink:

Haha! How funny! I'm off to the Isle of Wight! I'm obviously getting a bit on the pre-diddly side aren't I! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to visiting 'my Island!'

Morning @nursebean. Sure you can also think back on the 'nice' food you had yesterday and don't feel guilty: you were allowed to do that because of today! It's the sort of thing you can affort because you are a faster :wink:
I guess you're right @P-JK although I'm supposed to be doing Slimming World inbetween fasts - and yesterday just went right out the window. I weighed myself this morning and discovered I've put on 4 pounds! 4 Pounds, just for having a bit of indulgence! Just goes to show you have to be careful doesn't it - doh!

@nursebean i always remember someone on here saying the scales can show four pounds up or down..so your scales are merely reflecting yesterday's scoffing! Youre rectifying it today !

Hi all! I'm joining you today. Just coming up to dinner time, and I will be tucking into Quorn burgers and veggies and pears for dessert. I has been a pretty good day - just going over the 500 as it was a crazy busy day at work and I rushed all day.

Talking of Quorn @MerryMelb I have some quorn pieces that have a use by date of 18 April. Do you think they'll be ok to have tomorrow?
Good to see you Candy @Candicemarie What are you plans for din dins tonight? Anything exciting? I'm going to take Oatsey's advice and avoid Weetabix today - see if I can shift that naughty 4 pounds!

Hi @Nursebean If the quorn has been in the fridge then I think it would be fine - I'd eat it :smile: But then again I have just opened a tub of natural yogurt that has a useby of 13 April. It is perfectly fine and I will still be eating through to the weekend.

Yeh Weeties not the best choice on a fast day..we get a better fast if we keep off the carbs..but then MM does
say we can have what we want for those 500 cals..you should see a better number on the scales tho minus the tasty weeties..xx

I'm fasting today and just tucking into my egg and (low cal) mayo salad for lunch. Dinner will be chicken salad. Good luck everyone :clover:
Most of the day gone now after having dinner (small size), up for another weight this evening to see how much has gone (mostly water that is...). So far, just another (fast)day at the office...
Call it dull, call it boring (I prefer 'zen'), but I just don't seem to have any issues with fasting in terms of physiological reactions (lucky me). Some sense of hunger of course, but hey, that's how it's supposed to work :grin:
Well I've had my tea and I've still got 240 ish cals left. What to eat? What to eat?? :bugeyes:
What a nice problem to have @nursebean. I've had quite a substantial chicken and ham salad for my dinner, I haven't actually counted calories today, but I'm assuming I have enough calories left for a bedtime hot choc (low cal). I've had a very active day nearly 20k steps and 2,300 calories used according to my fitbit so I'm not too worried.
