I'm not normally a Tuesday faster, but after a long weekend and in honour of my first day back to school, I thought it'd be a great day to fast. I did however forget that I'm meant to be having lunch with a potential new member of staff for my team, so I'm going to have to do a bit of creative juggling with my eating for today.
So, who's in for today, and what's your plan?
May the fast be with you all!
Ditto PeonyBlue - I didn't want to fast on a public holiday either, and named today my Monday - and then realise I have a 2 hour training session from 7-9pm this evening. Getting through that on an empty stomach might not be fun.
I've nearly cracked already, got home from grocery shopping and had the "sod it, I'm eating" thought, but managed to fob it off with a cup of tea and feel fine again.
I'm in today. Really happy to be fasting today after 2 weeks holidays. Luckily not hungry at all yet.
Xxx
I am in for today :) While I know most people fast on Mondays, I've decided to do Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday... As Friday is mine and my husbands "Saturday" and we are kid free, so I don't want to fast on that day... And I figure my chosen three days then have a more fluid pattern to them :)
I'm back starting today after a year off! I've made it to mid afternoon and looking forward to a nice dinner. Lots of water and black tea to keep me going.

I know a lot of people say knowing you can have what ever you want tomorrow keeps you going... But what keeps me going is knowing I am going to have a nice big dinner... And a plate full of vegetables after a day of fasting just sounds Devine :D
Hi ! I'm here today too. It's early in UK but my plan is the usual, gym and teaching, punctuated with lots to drink....now needing hot drinks as it's colder windy and wet. I also feel a cold starting but will fight it off with extra vit C, echinacea. Probably salmon steak grilled with lemon, pepper and dill with lots of green veg. Feeling positive knowing that I will cross off a lot on my list of jobs! Have a good day everyone. :clover:
Hi fellow Tuesday fasters. Water and black coffee, a workout, a dog walk, food shopping, washing, ironing, dusting, hoovering & school bag shopping should see me through until dinner tonight ( I hope) which may be some kind of asparagus flan ( filo instead of shortcrust) and a large green salad........mmm roll on dinner.

Enjoy the fast everyone x
Hopefully the attachment works... This was dinner tonight... Fish and Quorn, with a cauliflower mash and veges! I admit my eyes were bigger than my belly, but this was only 500 cal!

Yes I have fasted today, bit all over the place, protein bar early, lunch, plate of veg for dinner, about 700 cals, doing under 1000 cal maintenance. Full, will have an 8 cal hot choc later, so all has gone well. Good luck others.
I am fasting today after a looooong time off, another weight loss club membership bought and kilos gained. :( Optimistic about the fast but really feeling quite low in general with my weight, my eating, my clothes etc etc etc. I am trying this again as last time I found it really hard to do more than one day a week hence no weight loss. But I do think this is the easiest way to go as once I start eating I can't stop so I am zero calories for as long as I can manage. Good luck everyone (although I see most of your Tuesdays are over or nearly over).
Hi Peonyblue and all Tuesday fasters. I'm with you again today. I did a double fast over the weekend :victory: and am now back into my ADF :like:

@Panda_Po that meal looks gorgeous! Apart from the fish (being a veggie) that looks right up my street. I've never tried cauliflower mash so I'll have to give that a whirl.

:chicken2:
Thanks @cheekychicken I was introduced to cauliflower mash during my low carb days. It certainly hits the spot, add a little low fat cream cheese or sour cream and it makes it delightful :)
I'm fasting today instead of yesterday, so far so good!
I'm in today with a 'I will see how far I get' thought. I'm not very motivated today, especially as its roast pork dinner tonight.
