I'm in today. Been fine so far but I'm really looking forward to my dinner, especially as I'm currently preparing the kiddies dinner.
Hope all you Wed fasters are having a great day!

I'm in too.
Can anyone tell me - do sugar free gum and flavoured tea bags (you know you can get all sorts of flavours like raspberry pomegranite mint etc) have calories in them?
I woke up feeling hungry so think today might be a bit challenging....

Morning everyone. Today's my day off work and I'm fasting for the 3rd time. Worried I'm going to struggle with being in the house but I've got so much to do (I'm a teacher and getting observed tomorrow) so it should go by quick. Just going to play it by ear.

I'm in today trying another Wednesday fast because I was pleased with my last weeks weight loss of 2 lbs.
I don't think I could cope with such hot weather as in Oz at the moment although I have lived in the Middle East & it got very hot there. At the moment it is chilly, grey & rainy in Sussex so I am just going to put my SAD lamp on whilst I do the ironing.
Just fluids for me until supper. I hope you all have a good day & don't melt in Oz or freeze in Canada or the USA!

Hi

I am new here, on my second week of 5:2 and all seems to be going well so far. Felt a bit hungry a few hours ago but a black coffee seemed to do teh trick. I work from home so am trying to keep busy booking appointments

Heyhey everyone

Normally I'd be doing Mon/Thurs fasts but this week has gotten all messed up so I'm doing Wed/Fri instead. Hoping that my Valentine's Challenge weigh-in on friday will be kind after a non-fast day! Feeling pretty good at the moment, about to go and make myself some lunch. Thinking stuffed peppers with lots of veggies might be nice :)

Happy fasting everyone!

Hi everyone,
I'm in today too. It's my second fast (started on 5:2 this week) and i'm definitely finding today harder than the first fast. Woke up hungry which didn't help! I've managed to not have any calories so far, just drinking lots of water and fruit tea, but i'm going to eat a little salad now and have a cup of proper tea and hope that helps!

Looking forward to my dinner tonight- onion and mushroom 2 egg omelette with a salad. Yum

tell me it is going to get easier........please!

I am in today but most by necessity than by choice. Being sick, I am not hungry, plus the hot lemon stop all food cravings so tonight I'll have the rest of monday's onion soup and 2 scrambled eggs which should bring my intake to around 300 cal with maybe a room for a hot cocoa before bed

Welcome to all the newbies :like:

second fast day of week 2 of 4:3 fast.

Last week was okay but this week I am feeling hungrier and wonder if it's because my period is due this week. So far have lost nearly 5 pounds so am motivated but am looking forward to feast day tomorrow.

Anyone else had this experience though - I crave certain foods on my fast day and tell myself I will eat them tomorrow on my feast day, then when my feast day comes round I don't actually feel like eating them!

I'm really struggling today, so I am defrosting some mushroom soup from a batch I made ages ago, I didn't log it on MFP so I don't know how many calories it has.I know tonight's Quorn and Butternut Squash curry comes in at 247 cals, so the soup can't do too much damage :starving:

Get well soon @manderley. Good luck to newbies :like: :like: and hope your hunger pangs subside soon @sians. :starving:

I'm doing quite well today. Second fast of the week and not eaten anything yet. I'm wearing my rumblestop which I have not worn for a while. http://www.rumblestop.co.uk/. Weird thing, it actually works.

Took the words out of my mouth @SianS and they ain't cheap either. It's amazing what you can buy these days. Obviously I'm good at ignoring annoying sounds....

And I've also had to defrost some soup today due to running out of oxo and bouillon.
