Back from this evening's paddle where we had a spectacular view of the harvest moon over the water - breathtakingly beautiful and we're so fortunate to have seen it.

I ate a little more than I ordinarily would on a fast day but I knew that it might be a long paddle this evening and it's possibly our last night time paddle of the season unless we're very fortunate with the weather.

So, all in all, a lovely fast day and I won't dwell on the unaccustomed extra food intake that was still not enough to make it a non-fast day. :)

I had the miso soup at 7ish, and some celery. Then did have a small piece of chocolate late at night when I couldn't get to sleep. It does seem to help...

Today I did break the fast with egg and rasher of bacon, and some oats, and have had tuna salad for lunch. Trying not to have to much (tho have felt quite hungry), as we are going out to dinner tonight with 3-course meal which I know I won't be able to resist... AND am going out to lunch tomorrow...

Hope things are ok for you - any trips to Melbourne planned?

Hi there @Sassy1, a successful day for me thank goodness, but I was ravenous this morning and had to have an apple and a couple of boiled eggs early on.
I find those meals out don't help either; we have got two meals out planned so I shan't eat during the day as I know calorie counting is what is working for me.
Not back in Melbourne for a while unfortunately, although we are flying over to Hobart in October to check our house is still standing! I wish we were as I miss home but them's the breaks at the moment.
I agree that have something just before bed seems to help.
I shall return!! :cool:
