Changed days, so fasting today. Anyone else?
I am with you @GMH! :)
Also switched days as going out to dinner tomorrow.
And am going to try another liquid fast + miso soup...
I am now back to being in weight loss mode, not maintenance (am about to update my tracker)... :( so need to get serious again and get those evening munchies under control!!

Best wishes to today's fasters. :)
I'll be joining the Wednesday fasters hoping to do as good a fast day as Monday. For dinner I will be having salmon, asparagus and a salad.
Good luck everyone :clover:
Wednesday is one of my regular 4:3 days so I'm fasting today. I'll be kayaking tonight so I'll have a substantial snack beforehand and soup afterwards with tomatoes and FF GY during the day.
I'm with you on that one Sassy as well! I saw a decent loss after Monday and I'm keen to keep things going, although it is only 11am and I want to chew my own face off!
Luckily I have three more meetings to keep my mind off things!
Good luck,
Hey @Debs, let's keep each other going with the liquid fasts! :) :)

I felt great after Monday's too. Am on my 4th hot drink for the day and will soon be going out for an afternoon's weeding. On my return I will find things to do to put off having the miso soup until the others have dinner. Not sure how I will fill the evening, will be watching TV at least some of the time. So do your best to keep busy, hope the tummy doesn't rumble too much during the meetings, and I'll check in to see how you are going later. :)

@SSure, I note that you had your body fat measured when you were 9lbs heavier. I was wondering when you plan to have it measured again? If that 9lbs was mostly fat, then your %bf should have dropped a lot? If you assume it was all fat, then my calcs have your %bf as 24% now (assuming it was 30% at 117lbs). That would be great news!
@Debs do you still have a face Hahahahahaha, I almost lost an arm to hunger but had a pink lady instead  feel full now, on train on way home, will have veggies for a late lunch, then an 8 cal hot choc later. So tired I think it will be an early night. Since I plan to do 1000 cals tomorrow, I'll either be gnawing a strangers face off, poor I'll 've not hungry as often happens day after fast  we know which one I want!
I'm in today, back to the 4:3. Good enough fast on Sunday, today's will be what it will be and plan for another on Friday.
No idea about holiday damage, but ate a lot of fried tempeh, tofu, eggs and noodles. No control over menu but perhaps could have controlled portions
WIll keep 4:3ing until excise day in October. Denial? Moi?
Hope everyone else is having a good fast.
:cat: I'm back in today after nearly a week of diet carnage in London, including Crucibubble cocktails at the Old Vic, an Italian meal, a rare visit to a chip shop, and sandwiches with actual butter. Terrible. :shout: :shout: But now getting back in gear. Have put in two 1000 cal days this week, but looking forward now to my first fast: in six hours or so, a veggie burger, steamed asparagus, and wilted spinach with a speck of carrot and swede mash; later, a Warburton's Thin with avocado, tomato and watercress. Good luck to everyone else fasting today!
Now @wasafan, what have I told you before about discussing great food moments on a fast day thread?????
Sassy, going ok although had to resort to a cuppa soup as there was nothing else and. Was starting to feel light headed, but pushing through. No one is armless yet (groan)
You're quite right @Debs , it's the last thing anyone wants to think about. What I meant to say is that I spent last week on a beach with George Clooney, who said to me 'My word, you look utterly fabulous in that bikini. Would you share a lettuce leaf and a glass of water with me? '
@wasafan, George Clooney eh? I think there are a few on this forum who would be envious of such a happening!!

@Debs, I'd count a cuppa soup as liquid, providing it wasn't the lots of noodles variety!! OH is preparing dinner for himself and the one son who is home (the other is out on the town with his uni mates....) and I am holding off on the miso soup as long as possible. Spent the afternoon removing montbretia bulbs from the banks of our local creek, and then did my c25k training.

Hope everyone else is going ok. :)
Good morning all

I'm in as well. Second and last fast of the week.

Good luck to all :clover:

I won't have another Dexa until 2015.

Yes, if it was all fat, If I've lost no more LBM, I'm approx. 24-25% body fat (I can't confirm that until my next scan which is 2015 and the scans need to be sufficiently spaced so that a difference can show up that is not normal variation in order for me to track what's happening to the skeletal muscle). Ideally, to reduce the metabolic diseases associated with sarcopenia (diabetes, CVD etc.) I'd be no more than 20% body fat but that isn't feasible as I'd need to weigh <100lbs which would make me unsustainably and unhealthily underweight (<17 BMI).

But, yes, having been normal weight 'morbidly obese' by a 42% body fat level  at a BMI of <23 :geek: , it is heartening to realise that I've got the body fat down to its present level (assuming that it's accurate). :victory:
I am in today for my usual Wednesday fast. Last week was a disaster with only one fast and lots of social events where I ate and drank too much. 3 pounds on in a flash..Oh well, ever onward. Solstice challenge is a bust...maybe Christmas :?:
Good luck all :clover:
