No, but it is low calorie if you have a teaspoon or so of it in hot water for a Japanese broth. Spring onion slices make a nice but optional add-in. The average miso paste is 200kcals for 100g and the amount you use in a mug is up to you, but you get a vary savoury mugful of broth for 10-20kcals (it is salty if that is relevant to you).

I've just had one of my fast day staples, Total's 0% Greek Yoghurt (<60kcals for 100g). I eat a truly absurd amount of that yoghurt but find it both delicious and essential on fast days.
Hey all fasters im in today to, 2nd and final fast of the week!
I can't believe this is my 4th week of fasting already.
Bit disappointed with not feeling any of my clothes are looser though, I said from the start I would do this for 4 weeks and if I dont feel any different I would stop.

Im not sure whether to carry on? I have one week left in work then i am off for a week, so I may do next week and see what 5 weeks brings.

On the plus side, at the start I couldnt go past 11am without needing something to eat, I can now get to 2pm which is great so I can skip brekky and have a bigger dinner :-)

Just had my home made veg soup which i have every day of the week anyway, but its great for fasting days as its only 100cals and it does fill you for a few hours. This day should be a breeze now I have eaten.
Wishing you fasters a successful day xx
Hi @nursebean. Welcome back to fasting. I've been following your challenges.
Miso soup is 25-30 kcal per 6oz serving. I get it at an Asian grocery in pre-packaged servings. It's not much but it does get me through to my single meal at supper when that Hunger Monster is particularly annoying :starving:
I'm in today my first fast of the week as Monday was a travel day back from vacation. I need to shed 5 lbs that crept on while I was away.
Hi everyone

Just had a small lunch. Well I thought it was small but it added up too much. Never mind. Quite proud of myself as my German bakery order arrived in my lunch break and I managed to pack it all away for tomorrow. Normally that would have been impossible for me but today it wasn't too much of a challenge. Just keep reminding myself that I can have it all tomorrow.

Keep on going Susan! There are other benefits to fasting & you may also need to keep an eye on your TDEE on your eating days if you haven't noticed an inch or weight loss yet

Well done Alexandra in resisting the goodies & yes you can eat tomorrow
I am in today, a bit late to the thread. Busy day, so it flew by and I have already got to after dinnertime. Thankfully, a much better fast than Mondays 700cal day! It will be bedtime soon, so I have made it through.
I am thinking of going again in Friday to get some damage control in before the hols on Monday.
Just back from kayaking. The kit's in the washing machine, the buoyancy aids are drying, and I'm settling down in bed with a mug of broth.

All in, it's approx. a total of 430kcals today.
Hi everyone!

1st or 2nd fast (depending on when the week begins? I fasted on Sunday…) of the week, my last one will be Friday. I had planned to fast yesterday but my plans got scuppered because my new boss wanted to buy me lunch and I couldn't exactly say no… SO, I had to replan for today. Made a delicious pizza for dinner, which I will pop in the recipe part of the forum, but you can have a sneak peak here:

My coconut oil/coffee combo plus another espresso kept me going for my long day but I'm not sure how dependent I'm becoming on caffeine. We'll see… Glad everyone is doing well!
