On task today. Still on holiday so finding it easy if I distract myself. Miso soup this afternoon and fish with salad for dinner.
@tiggerthefirst thanks very much for leading us out today! Well, a tomorrow for me as I'm about to go to sleep :sleepy:
Happy fasting everyone :clover:
Hi @Tiggerthefirst. I've been fasting today. I wasn't sure if I was going to commit, but I had a black coffee at breakfast time and a bowl of peaches and strawberries with a small dap of yogurt and since then I drove my husband 100kms up to Launceston to see the specialist. We got there half an hour early and I needed something so I had a chickpea and rocket salad, probably would have done better with the 'green' salad, but there. At least it wasn't a cake which was why I couldn't commit this morning. So it's fish for tea and more salad, let's say 'green'. I may be a tad over 500 by the end of the day, but not by much. Hope you're doing ok.
I am in today too! Just very late in posting.
Almost dinner time, and as it is 43deg C my egg and salad looks tempting. A cool change is on the way, and late tonight the doors and windows will be flung open to let in the breezes.

Well done today @Sallyo after your long drive, and @TiggertheFirst - and happy fasting everyone.
10.35am and I'm sipping my second cup of tea. I'll have to nip to the shop as I have run out of sparkling water (my fast day treat  ). Salmon and marinated courgette spaghetti for dinner. Good luck :clover:
I'm in. I'm still going over a little on fast days, but I figure it's a good start anyway. I'm trying to wean my way to fasting all day and sticking to 500 calories. I had cream of wheat for breakfast and will try to make it to dinner without anything else.
Have a good day everyone!
Well done guys, keep it up! :clover:
I'm semi-fasting today... No breakfast or lunch, but going out to friends' for a meal this evening and we haven't met since before Christmas so I'm sure to go over 500. Still, better than if I'd had meals earlier as well.
Oh, and I'm just back from The Gym! Coo, that's a shock to the system as I think I last went in 2014...
I'm here as usual. Getting through 2nd fast of the week. I'm trying something new for dinner tonight - aubergine and courgette cannelloni with spicy ratatouille. A bit fiddly , hope it's worth it.
I'm in today as well! I have a business lunch, so I've already scouted the menu. I'll have a 6 oz. Angus steak and seasonal veggies for lunch. Second fast of the week. Looking to make it a good one. Happy fasting!
Dinner is finally baking  @lil how did it go Lil - yummy, if fiddly is it worth make a batch and freezing? I have been meaning to try it for yonks.
I'm in - no breakfast, then minestrone cup a soup for lunch & calorie counted ready meal for supper, plus tea & coffee throughout. Feeling hungry now but no food until breakfast tomorrow. Enjoying the Dr Moseley programme on 16:8 with a glass of water. Do others do 16:8 on NFDS?
It was nice @Lizbean and very filling. I made the full recipe of ratatouille (and have put half in the freezer) and the cannelloni for 2.Not sure how the cannelloni would freeze. Because I used very little spray fat the aubergine sheets went a bit dry before they softened. I might try steaming them rather than doing them in the oven next time. We had it with some baked white fish and leeks ( + a potato for hubby) Mine came to 314 cals
@Lil thanks for the tips, it's on next weeks menu
Couple of other points @Lizbean I made the ratatouille on the stove top rather than in the oven and used a carton of chopped tomatoes rather than roasting them ( laziness!). I also omitted the tomato puree as with the passata it was already very tomato- y although I am very fond of tomatoes.I never seem to be able to follow a recipe to the letter!
@katkin when was the MM 16:8 prog on and what channel? X
I'm sure some peeps here do 16:8 on non fast days..a good way of staying round or under TDEE ..
Some hardy souls do Fast5.. Including my DD...they do 19:5 daily or in DDs case,20:4 works wrll for her
I' m struggling to even just eat healthy right now
