Ok, first cab off the rank here!
Getting through the day here with brekky and lunch, as I frequently fail if I have to wait for dinner, so this experiment will be interesting!!
Good luck all!
I'm in too, Debs. I always have brekkie and lately have been having a very small lunch as well. I try to get to dinner with 300cals.
I am wth you too @Debs! :) I had a good week last week with my version of low carbs and 4:3, but haven't done too well since, and still have 2kg of holiday gain to shed (and unfortunately it is mainly fat, the water has all gone! :( ) Haven't added the info to my tracker yet tho...

Do let us know how you go eating early in the day Debs - how you survive the evening! Is it carieoates who uses this approach successfully?

NB I ate so much yesterday that I have no glimmer of hunger pangs yet... About to have a third cuppa as I still feel the need to wash down all the greasy food I consummed. :( :(
I am in. Will hold out as long as possible. Maybe a bit of cheese at lunch for some needed protein and the last of my protein bars. Will have to make a new batch soon.

Dinner will be left over lamb rojan josh (small portion) to which i will add freshly boiled chicken eggs, cucumber raita and tomato/capsicum salad. Will leave out the rice.

First time in 3 months that im seeing a decline in weight so feeling positive.
Hi there,
Yes, I shall be interested, as I get to obsessed by eating and so hungry by 9am (up since 4.30) that I am hoping it might work.
Looks as though I'm in too :)
I put on 500gms (OH NO! I hear you shout) over the festive season & 16:8 just isn't budging it, looks as though it's time to get serious !!!
I'll be celebrating 2 years here soon, which will mean 18 months of maintenance YAY :)
Oops, I feel like a bit of a fake  I've just got up & weighed at my normal (daily) weigh-in time & I'm ON TARGET

Personal rules say "no fasting" if not over-weight (that would be a bad state of affairs) so I'm sorry to say that I won't be joining you today after all. Kinda shame really, I was quite looking forward to it. Guess I'll just have to have a pig-out soon then you'll see me again :)

Have fun everyone xxx
I'm fasting today! Back to back from yesterday..... Soup for lunch and dinner, herbal tea, normal tea without milk and veg bouillon for drinks as needed. And sugar free jelly after dinner for that sweet hit.....otherwise I'll spend the evening hunting through the cupboards for chocolate that I know isnt there!!!
Good luck everyone!!!
I'm in. Got carb flu...hope it shifts soon as can't drink any more seriously peeing like a good un...
Got half of a protein bar and some cuppa soup.
Salmon for dinner
Good luck to one and all. :clover:
Hi everyone - I'm in
First week back for a while and looking forward to the challenges ahead. Lost 3lbs this week, I know it's mostly water but it's a start.
Decided it had to be New Year New Me as my health was suffering. Tried all the popular clubs and magazines related to losing weight and thought that the only way I managed to give up smoking 20 years ago was by cutting it out altogether. Well, I can't do that with food, but fasting 2-3 times a week is the next best thing, and I feel I'm not so deprived as with other ways of eating.
So good luck to my fellow fasters :like:

Looking forward to a healthier future

Kathy
Good luck @debs and all the other Wednesday Wonderfasters x
@oscarthewestie welcome back and well done for those three lbs! Do you really have a Westie called Oscar? I love those little dogs.
@Carieoates sorry you still have carb flu,how long does it usually last do you know? X

Hi FFF (fabulous fasting fellows)!
In, too. Whew, I did not trust my eyes when I saw the time today. 10 a.m. Usually I wake up at 6 or 7 a.m. I am really late. Good, less time to think about food

@OscarTheWestie
good flow and luck with the fasting for health reasons. I quit smoking in 2002 and it was one of my best decisions ever. Fasting comes right after it. I will keep fasting when reaching my weight goal - for the great felt benefit it gives to my body.

Get well soon @all who are struggling with indisposition.

 FFF

What is carb flu??? Am I being very dim?
Afternoon all. An update from me. The brekky protein worked for me and despite a couple of grumbles, it got me through so I decided to eat as late as I could without traumatising myself too much. So dinner at 5.30 and I shall have a little sugar free jelly later for my throat. So, all in all, a successful day for me.
I also get carb flu, Ieramul, and no it isn't a dim question. Only light bulbs may be dim  When you go really low carb, e.g. under 30g, it can cause for some, me included, symptoms of feeling a bit tired and lethargic until you get used to it. The other side effect for me is being up all night weeing!!!!

Good luck all!
