Today's FD has been fine, food wise. Good luck to those with several more hours to go.

I've managed to prepare some cookie batter to refrigerate until Friday when I'll bake them off (two types of peanut butter cookie; hazelnut and molasses thins; ginger snaps). Tomorrow, I'll prepare the dough for cinnamon buns and retard that in the fridge, just leaving date and walnut cake to make up on Friday when I'm baking everything else.

I'm most of the way through the Christmas Cake baking but still have a fair way to go.
Hi all, I'm new to this. Today is my third attempt at fasting. Last week I made the mistake of waiting too long for my second meal. I'm doing one meal at around 3 and then another at 8 or 9. Last week I ate at noon and then not again until 8:30. Didn't work, I was famished and shaky by the time I ate the second time. Then on Monday I tried fasting by snacking all day, ended up going over the 500 calories by about a 100. Today I am more serious and determined. At 3 I had some tofu soup - very low in calories, a clementine and half a banana. Now I am sipping tea and am no longer hungry. Yeah! I have type 2 diabetes so I know it will take some time to get the times and meals sorted so I don't get shaky and irritable. I yelled at my son last week when I was soooo hungry :(. Just hoping for some kind words. My sister thinks I am nuts for doing this fasting, she is afraid "I will make myself sick". I don't think I will and my diabetes is under control and I'm on metformin which doesn't produce hypoglycemic episodes. Ok, now I am babbling. I'm eager to see what this site has to offer! already entered my stats, had to go out and get a tape measure! Thanks for listening!
